For me Labor and Delivery were a walk in the park, I was too dang stubborn to use any meds and I had my son at home after a not sooo good experience with the doc with my daughter. The first day of Kindergarten was hard but when my daughter graduated and I saw all these Mom's jut sitting smiling while I was Bawling to beat the band I wondered if I was the one that was wrong. But I know that I can't hold that kind of pain in I was so proud but it broke my heart that it went so fast. I also thought of the friends she had lost throughout the years due to car wrecks. Now the last of May my son will walk the same walk I think I may get some zanex or something to make it through the graduation and his enlistment and deployment to boot camp.

my mother helped me bury my cat onyx tonight.

his neck was broken by our neighbors dog.

unknown to us it happened on sat (when he went missing) and they buried him without checking around with anyone.

New Hobby turns out to be great recovery

the other nite , i was sitting listening to old music , and decided while i was listening, to go thru a box of photos i had under the desk.

these pictures are from many years to current , just not put in albums yet.. i decided , since i was feeling a little upset about something dealing with my oldest son, to dig up his baby pictures and when he was a kid.

as i was listening to the music and looking at these pics the flood gates of a mothers tears from her heart came pouring out, they hurt and they felt good at the same time.

I am so glad you found a catharsis for you.If you saw my post today I too have been a bit melancholy. I have a trunk full of pics and need to get them in albums the kids had one each up until the age of four or so and they have worn them out over the years. I need to redo them. I always got so mad at my Mom for having a trunk full of pictures now I am doing the same thing LOL Hers was black with one handle torn off, in all the many moves it went with us. Mine is the old steamer with wood inlay it smells musty and makes me think of my Mom and her turnk. She has alzheimers and goes through her pics almost everyday.

Pictures are so special I am taking photography I just learned that 1838 there were NO photographs in 11 years later there were MILLIONS!!!! I have about 50 rolls too develop LOL I horde them and then spend $300.00 or so a pop to get them processed. But they are precious I wish I had taken more of the kids when they were younger but alas we just didn't have the funds.

Melanie (my daughter ) has taken so many of Makayla and I bought her a pooh scrapbook to get them into before the pile up.

Thunder Rider has found out how to build me a dark room and I can't wait I just need someone to help me put them in frames etc. LOL

PS One thing my cousin did that you will laugh at, her daughter graduated last year and before she could leave for college she had to make albums for her Mom LOL She got them all done through out the summer.
