  I would probably ask Jesus for forgiveness, get to know Him and then rejoice I finally found the real truth before I died.

  At that age most family and friends are gone anyways, so I wouldn't be scared of shunning.

  how about the heavies in the organization, like the writers, lawyers, and other who work at headquarters?.

  i don't believe for a second that the wts can be god's chosen organization, if he does have an earthly one, especially one with such a hypocritical past.

  but the question begs; why are there people professing having the heavenly calling usually found in the wts?.

  does anyone know or have heard of other denominations having the genuine heavenly calling?.

  I've always wondered why, if one believes in God, wouldn't you want to be with God. Right where he is. I mean, wherever that is, it must be pretty fantastic. Anything that's good enough for God must be crazy awesome for us? Also, wouldn't you want to see God? Who doesn't wish to ever see or be close to ones Father?

  The GB are just those wolves in sheeps clothing the bible talks about, that will try to close the heavens for everyone else.

  if you thought that stephen lett came to realize finally, that wearing a pinky ring doesn't seem modest, you are wrong.. in the introduction video to the video "what is true love?

  " of the convention releases day 3, he is as lunatic as ever and wearing his pinky ring again.. thank you, governing body.

  let "lett" talk in front of the worldwide convention audience and in your broadcasts, and you will wake up more jw's than any other means might do..

  Wow...I'm speachless...This Lett guy talks as if he think his audience is just as retarded as he is. I especially want to throw up at his odd and cheesy smile at the very end...Geeze!!! And yes, his make up is horrible, it looks like a powdered baby's a$$. Grrr!

  i see an attitude among some people here which is not very helpful.

  i can understand it, but still, it's not constructive or helpful.. if you condemn the society for not changing, but then you also condemn them when they do change in a positive way, what incentive or motive does that provide for the people at the society to ever want to change for the better?.

  also, what does that attitude look like to current witnesses who are having doubts?.

  The org is judging and condemning everything and everyone outside itself, so yea, the hammer will come down pretty hard on them. Is that really so odd?

  Strange but Sad!

  i had a couple of elders come visit me about an hour ago.

  they wanted to inform me that a brother who was well known throughout the circuit had died.

  (i actually knew about it but did not go to the funeral) he was about to hit 90 years old, missed it by a few weeks.

  I asked the elders if they contacted the daughter to tell her that her father had died. They said “NO” We are not under obligation to contact a disfellowship person. They said, “She will have to find out when she calls next January.”

  Then they said, “That what she gets for leaving Jehovah’s Organization.***

  How loving! It's loving actions like this that really proves that the Holy Spirit is guiding this organization!! Not!!!

  Why I remain one of Jehovah's Witnesses

  allow me to begin with a clarification: when i say i am one of jehovah's witnesses, i don't mean that i am an advocate of the watchtower society or a devotee of some of its more controversial false teachings.

  i mean that i am a christian, a disciple of jesus christ dedicated to jehovah god, and who remains in union with my brothers and sisters who make up the family of faith that globally refers to itself as jehovah's witnesses.

  some totally understand the distinction between the family of brothers and sisters and the corporate organization known as the watchtower society (wts).

  The way I see it (The org) is that it's run by Satan. He's in the lead and casts spells on innocent people that long to serve God. Just as the bible prophecies. By following the WT we're disobeying God and ignore His warnings. We also ignore His logical advice not to trust in men, simply because they're all liars. And when we refuse to do honest background research because these liars (Satan) tell us not to, we can't really say anymore "we didn't know" on the judgement day.

  so the org is on a big "beg for money" drive right?.

  so either they are running out of money and will eventually cease to have as much influence, or, it is evidence of a lack of backing from "god", so they will eventually fade away?.

  either way, it's a "lose / lose" situation for the org!.

  I don't believe for a second they "need" more money, it's just a classic case of greed. "Much ($$$) wants more.

  I think they're knee deep in the almighty dollar, probably already have more than they know what to do with. But humans have a hard time being in the lead without letting it get to their heads. Even the bible warns us from following men, because they're all liars.

  This whole Watchtower-phenomenon stems from people not following the biblical advice, not even reading it properly. And all people have a strong urge to belong. To anything. It's just an instinct. And some people have figured out how to take advantage of that.

  There's something wrong with this guy. His whole body language is weird, like he's a five year old kid wanting to jump in place because he's so exited about something (in adults eyes) trivial. I almost thought he was gonna really start jumping up and down.

  i just couldn't watch for more than a few minutes. He makes me angry inside and I just want to throw my iPad out the window. :(

  on the positive side, idiotic broadcasting with weirdos like this will be their downfall probably sooner than later. I think that's why God have helped them set this JW TV up, so he can expose the false prophets.
