Deputy:
Did you actually read what I said?
Sorry, my mistake. I must have got lost in my mind's stories and drama there for a moment and extended your words way out beyond their meaning.

i was just starting to think, they removed religion from schools and public areas and jobs.
whats next?
the removal of everyone who believes in god or some high power?

BFD:
I am reading the bible for the first time.
Be extremely careful and vigilant that you do not sacrifice your life to the mire.
If you desire healthy wisdom, I suggest spending more silent time in nature instead; and if you must read something, take along a small copy of the Tao Te Ching.

Dear Spirit, some of what you perceive as people who believe in "no God", is actually people who find it difficult to accept the deity found within the pages of the Bible as the true source of such a beautiful and wonderful universe. They may not know what God is, but they know that the Bible's anthropomorphic tribal deity, ain't it. Sometimes it's better not to hold any beliefs at all, than to believe in something that may actually be disrespectful.
It may benefit you to stop carrying the heavy load of hate for people who do not believe as you. We're all fools.

Deputy, I do not mean to be offensive, but why limit God to the little character in the Bible? Why not expand him that he include evolution and science. Why subtract rather than augment?
It seems to me disrespectful to reduce in any way the Source of an infinite universe. But then, I'm not a Christian.

Why would you want deities, demons, angels, devils, and other mythological creatures and stories taught in a science class?

soon after we arrive on this earth, we become aware of the most fundamental fact of our existence, that we won't be here very long.
an average life span lasts less than 30,000 days.
we sleep a third of that time, so the days we experience number less than 20,000. we may try, but we can't ever completely deny our mortality.
Perhaps both birth and death appear within the foundational reality: Life.
Am "I" the isolated creature defined within religious and scientific books? Have we taken the first step first, and thoroughly investigated into what we really are when void of all we believe and intellectualize our"selves" to be?
What are we, really, at our foundation?

Welcome to the forum, Spirit Axal .
"what would Jesus do"
Imagine what it would be like not placing attention and energy on abstract beliefs, deities and make-believe drama within the minds imagination, and instead placing attention on the wondrous and glorious REALITY of life and existence in and around you. Jesus would very likely do that.

so....do any of you believe in some person in the sky floating around called jesus?
or having a relationship with that person (or god) who is in some other dimension apparantly?
being a witness, they stressed so much having a relationship with "jehovah" and all that.
do any of you believe in some person in the sky floating around
Welcome, Monster.
Why would we want to confine our foundational significance to an invisible creature or configuration somewhere out in space, time and dimension? Why place any quantitative or spatial limitations on our Source and Sustenance at all? Who the hell are we to do such a thing?
In other words, my answer would be: "No".
