Little wonder we live in a world so full of mans inhumanity to man, considering so many worship as "The Most High" that which is a murderous monster.

i was thinking about this today, in that so many christians claim the bible never speaks of god killing unborn children.
they use references to god saying that he would apply the "eye for an eye" rule with the accidental killing of a child in the womb of the woman.
yet, does anyone realize the bible speaks of the hebrew god as killing several, numerous, unborn children.
Little wonder we live in a world so full of mans inhumanity to man, considering so many worship as "The Most High" that which is a murderous monster.

so, i went to my friendly neighborhood tattoo parlor today, and recieved my second and third (or 19th and 20th - depending on how you look at it) tattoo.
the chest is an extremely sensitive area, and so i was very aware that i was alive for the majority of the time.. oh, birds are often seen as a symbol of freedom, happiness, and arriving safely.
bones show regret, loss.. .
Aren't those the skeleton-birds the militant lesbians have tattooed on their chests?
I didn't now you were from Lesban. My ex wife was from there. That's how I knew about the tattoos.

Congratulations! However...
One, is the loneliest number that you'll ever do.

i have read many posts on here and on other websites from people who were brought up or became immersed in a particular religion or belief system, who later ,often because of bad experiences with their religion, went to the opposite extreme of not believing in god at all.
this often puzzles me because i wonder if people who reject a belief in god because of the hypocrisies they experienced in their former belief really are rejecting god or just a man-made organization which claims to be god's spokesman and has shown to be anything but.. i was raised in a presbyterian church which is about as traditional and conservative as you can get and my image of god was molded by that belief.
i saw the services and people there as dead basically.
Anything and everything I have to say about it, is not it, is only confusing, and motivates more of the same questions.
It's questions all the way down.

you haven't considered that somewhere down there beyond the leviathans there might be a sea bed, and below that, and below that, and below that?...
Your questions regarding layers, distances and dualities, does not apply in the nondual realization of our true oneness and wholeness.
Your many layered fragmented chaos, exists within the mind only. To awaken to your true Being, is to step out of the ENTIRE "reality" construct of the mind.
Be still. Stop. Stop the mind and it's questions and step into the unknowable immediacy and reality of your real Being. No one can give you the answers you seek. You, are the answers.

when i got off for lunch today i decided to go to the walmart deli and get something to eat.
it is a huge store, groceries, a bakery, mc donalds, a bank , eye center, beauty shop, a great deli, and a huge garden center.
i had taken back a 80 gig hard drive dvd recorder ( i couldn't figure out how to hook up <smile> and had received 238.00. i picked up a couple of things in the store then went to the deli.
Welcome, Annie.
It never ceases to amaze me how tribal deities can come in so handy with killing children with bears, and protecting purses.

Realizing our true Being, is not a mental activity, like discounting and accounting for things is. Rather, it is stepping into what is before and beyond all thought. It is a peace, beyond all understanding.....and it is not something added to you, but rather what you are.
So, I am not trying to run and hide from your question, it just does not really apply.
I can not put into words the utter purity that you actually are. When it is seen, the mind realizes it has entered into a holiness (for lack of a better word), that it can not touch....even though the mind exists within it. There is no need or desire to manipulate it, and besides it is clearly seen that there is no other, to manipulate it. You are everything; but no particular thing.
So, if you are curious about "layers", then you jump in an investigate. You, tell me: are there the possibility of layers? Start by seriously investigating into who is it that is asking the questions.

Rossco:
What's to convince anyone that you're not as deluded as the next person? THough you feel you've experienced that which transcends all ego, what's to suppose that you're not one more layer short of an onion skin? We're all a bunch of firing neurons, right?
I can not say or do anything which will convince anyone. I can not give you what you already are, anymore than I can taste an apple for you.
If we can be still of thought, and place attention silently on the actual, intensely intimate and immediate sense of being and soothing warmth of aliveness -- here in this inner pool there will be sensed an unfathomable depth. Allow this silent, effervescent sweetness to convince you.
