Poppers', explanations are extremely beautiful and clear. Certainly coming from a consciousness that lives what is being pointed to. Words to be deeply savored. We are blessed to have him here.
That said, if anyone would like to see a "teacher" with this same vivid message via YouTube, I suggest checking-out a wonderfully loving fellow named Mooji. There are dozens and dozens of his videos there, everyone of which points us back to the same intimate presence within that dear poppers does. It is time for our searching to end once and for all. We are what we seek.
Enjoy.

Truth...Or Truth...truth?
by Voices inwhy do we normally get upset when someone talks about something.
i can't say this about everyone, but i guess it's only to myself.
fighting usually results when you think of something as truth.

"How does one know Truth..."
It's simple: What is the one thing that you absolutely know to be true? It's that you exist = I am. The rest is just mind jabbering b.s..
Rest in the ONE thing you undeniably know to be true, and see what happens. Be still. be still. Be still from the mind story, and fall into the truth of your own silent, intimate existence.

True listening comes from that place beyond our mind. That which is pure consciousness void of judgment or extraneous commentary.
It comes from that place most intimate to us. A place without walls that in truly empathetic and open. Here, hearing happens in pure silence -- and it is here that hearing is genuinely heard.
We all have this ability naturally within us as it is the foundation of our being. It's what we really are.

Everything In The Universe Was Created By Absolutely Nothing.
by Philadelphia Ponos inthis is the purest example of an oxymoron.
repeat this sentence over and over again and you will realize why it's impossible for some people to accept the big bang model.

"I just thought of something. If God is omnipresent, that means he's hiding in our peanut butter, under our bed, in our brains, inside the universe, every part of it. If God takes up an infinite amount of space, nothing else can exist because he is taking up all that space. Unless he's INSIDE everything. But, then again, does he exist at the quark level? Is he subatomic? If he is that small, he can't be that big anymore, can he? And the weirdest part of him being inside and outside of everything is this: he is VERY intimate with us. In more ways than one."
Look at my past posts in this thread, and you will see your answer.

"Certainly you need to create an expanse between the "waters above" and the "waters below" before giving life to the nothingness. That's how I would do it.
- Lime"Think outside the box: All that we perceive as material reality, must have a "screen" of immaterial on which to project. Without zero, numbers have no real meaning.

In order for thingness to exist, there must be no thingness to give it life....just as there must be darkness first to give light a meaning and existence.
The problem here is not in its complication, but rather the udder simplicity.
