  1- yes.just getting worse and worse, because as she said, "if it was not for the truth, life Will have no meaning so i would have ended mine long ago"...

  2- Sometimes.luckily as she now is aware That i do not give a sh...t about jw.org religion and That i Just stay there for her, she Is less and less bothering me with jw org language or typical phrases...that's a relief...

  3-yes.even for our anniversary also, if there was field service or a meeting to go, i have sometimes to fight to have a really important event like anniversary only for the 2 of us.but sometimes i win;)

  i listen to one of these all time in our hall.

  she brings it up constantly about how they would do this or that but he has to work that saturday.

  i think she should get a job and then he could find a lower paying 9 to 5 job..

  had our CO last year That told point blank in one of his speach That "many years ago men went working and wifes stayed at home.but now women go out to have a job, it's the work of the devil."

  when you hear stupidities like That you are not surprised by many things That happen next...

  This being said, i tend to agree with anneB. You do not need to hear This woman complain if That bothers you, Just walk away and let them live their life as they want to (or as they think they want to anyway).

  Christmas markets - apparently fine for JW's to attend

  this has got me really wound up and i feel the need to post.

  our friend an ex jw has just returned from a famous christmas market in germany, now my husband mentioned this to his mum as they have connections there.

  she got all excited about how amazing the german christmas markets are there and how she would of def gone to one this year if she had the time!

  my jw gung ho wife love Christmas markets.we go every year to one. Even a few years ago we went to the x-mas market in Strasburg...

  she likes it. And i enjoy it toi, even if it Is most commercial stuff for me...

  but yeah, jw double standard...as soon as she got out, she is all about how "we have the truth" etc...

  Just read the article....

  i bet This guy is not carrying a gun himself. Nowhere in the article it's said... Just That he equiped his teams. He can say He let his employees carry one and act according to their conscience.so as a JW he keep his hands clean and even Can be an Elder or something... So Much for not being a hypocrite if it's the case.

  but we have to agree, if what's written in the article is True, it has to be saluted and acknowledged as a great achievement.

  had he not let slip This phrase "i'm one of JW", i'm sure no one would have asked if he is carrying a gun or not, and the focus would have been on the job described and the results instead,.

  hoser, now That you mention it the co visit was somerhing like a month ago...good thinking.

  what was really entairtaining is That every one knew who was This talk directed at: We are 3 between 18 and 35 (2 Guys including me and 1 girl) who are not gung-ho jw...almost Never answering at the meeting,nowhere to be seen in field circus and looking bored at the meetings.

  but i do not feel concerned because they specifically targeted Young born in That have no issue with the doctrine....Haha.i have big issue with the doctrine because i do not believe in That sh...t so technically, This was not for me ;)

  idiots. They assume That every one believe them, but those who do not believe and want to keep their family Never let it slip...so they do not know who thinks what, and fire blindly at everyone...

  i found this article interesting & just wanted to share.

  after going through my teenage years trying to be the perfect jw, i realized that trying to live up to the standards imposed on me have been for worse & not for better.

  i was feeling miserable, repressed, unfulfilled, with a great lack of self confidence & self esteem.

  totally agree with This article...

  i got the exact same situation at home...as a result, "intercourse" is not at all pleasant for neither of us, luckily i got other motives to love my wife than sex!

  i'm a number 5...and intend to go back to college soon so That should make me being a number 8....

  sadly my wife would like me to be a number 3, so That one Day we can be number 2 or even number 1...not going to happen ;)

  i have all my family in the cult and was brought up in it myself.

  although mentally i'm out if i leave i loose all my family and that would break my heart.

  i've somehow got to fly under the radar and not be detected.

  startrekangel, you find it hard to believe that you can fool them for too long?

  check That: I am awake for nearly 4 years, Never comment at meetings (only a few readings once a while), turn in 3-4 hours a month FS time, wear a beard every now and then...believe me or not, but an Elder came to see me last tuesday at the end of service meeting and told me That i had a great spiritual maturity (???!! WTF???!!) and That i had all the qualities to be appointed ministerial servant very soon (!!!??? WTF again!!!???).

  so you see, as long as you Never tell anything to anyone about what you really think, yes you Can fool them for a very long time...
