This is a great forum for talking things out. Sounds like we both have had a tough weekend.

I sincerely hope you can work things out. It sounds like it is completely possible. The tea total plan sounds best. When a person can not stop drinking when they start, it leads to bad, bad, bad problems. And he certainly would not be the first person to have trouble with moderation with alcohol. It seems we all know someone close to us who has their struggles with alcohol.

Does anyone remember?

but does anyone else remember the "demon scare" back in the 60s or 70s?

the watchtower came out with articles about demon possession.

Remember when "L" came down that one summer? I think it was 1979 or 1980. My mom wondered if it was wise for her to be buying used jeans as they could have been demonized.

We didn't have any demon appearances, only a great summer. I can hear "Living in Blue Jeans" now thinking about that time. Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver all summer.

It is a new day and I feel better now with all of your good advise.

The pity party is over now. I have spent all Saturday feeling sorry for myself. There has been a dunkin donut and pizza. I have a marathon to run this next Sunday so I have got to pull it together. My training diet does not include donuts or pizza. (I have a time goal of 2 hours 59 min 59 seconds. My training has been on target to reach this goal.)

Now the cleaning will begin. This should take all day and prevent pity.

Does ibruprofen help a broken heart? Just asking.

To answer the question about changing the locks, I did not want my daughter coming in the house while I was not home. Her Dad has a nice habit of coming in with her, with me not home and going through the frig and checking out my belongings. In the past, he has even run loads of his wash. But the locks were not changed because I was afraid of her. They were changed because enough is enough.

I know in all honesty that I am a very sexy woman. The picture I post is me and I look like that. But life is not entirely all about sex is about finding some kind of happiness, right?

My huisbeand is not gay but he does not care for me. He does like some of the runner females who are faster than me. I am working hard to lose weight. Maybe I can be as fast as them one day. I run a solid 10 minute mile but maybe I could lose more weight and run a 6 minute mile and win my age division. The overall race winners run a 4 minute mile so I know that would not be possible,. But if I were to lose 50 lbs maybe I could make an inmression on my husband and he would be interested in "that way". Otherwise, I know I am too old and heavy.

As you know fro, being a witness, sometimes things don't turn out as you expected.

From what I have found, after age 32 or so, if you are interested in only having sex with one who is interested in you, forget it. You are too old and too past your prime.
