Do todays Jw's care at all about Russell and the pyramid?
by olongapo joe injust wondering, as i will be visiting active jw family in ohio in a few weeks, do you think it will be worthwhile dropping it into a conversation, about the wtbts pyramid near his grave, or try some other topic to try and wake them up.
i was never baptized and don't really care if they get upset or not, but it is only a day trip from ohio to pittsburgh, and thought it would be fun if they denied it, and then drove their to see it for ourselves.

Thanks for the comments guys. I am still shaking my head over the audacity of this cults non christian behavior as far as being charitable. Christianity aside they lack a complete moral compass.
As a footnote I have read the comments on the donation page..a lot are from jdubs. These people should be asking the organisation to help. No they are so brainwashed it seems that question is beyond them they only give to their own kind!

Im sick of my life
by BlackWolf insorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.
recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.
every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

I brought up a young teen my daughter in the organisation We re both out now and I have granddaughter who knows nothing about our past except when we speak a funny god language between ourself My daughter is going through so she has a daughter. Much pain from our past. Much pain with teenager.Much pain also dealing with a beautiful teenager… who is a normal teenager…the one thing we agree on is let her be herself. So young lady lay low.Find out what you want! Take one step at at at a time. Find your own belief system and try to understand your parents are inculcated in a cult. -
