  how do you deal with family members who still cling to the beliefs and yet never attend meetings or assemblies?

  my step-parents all but stopped going to the meetings when i was df'd, guess i was too embarassing.

  but, they cling to their beliefs.

  Yes it makes no sense. My jw husband does the same he preaches one thing then does another. He has never celebrated his kids bdays or mine but when his family had a bday party for is 80 yr. old mother he went bringing a gift. Either jws go way over board in their beliefs or they use it when necessary. Most are nothing but hyprocites.

  Why is there a High Rate of Suicide among Jehovahs Witnesses?????

  hi guys.

  last week i was involed in a very distressing situation, going with a family to identify their mother who had commited suicide.. we are waiting for the coroner to release the body for the funneral.. but, so far this year a number of jw have commited suicide in england,why???.

  can any one throw a light why so many jw of good standing commit suicide,.

  i presented that document to an elder from our hall... he called and told me exactly what i expected they would say (library card deal).

  so i wrote the un and got a letter back saying they were totally seperate and so forth, and fwd'd it to the same elder.

  he told me at the meeting that night that he called again and got in touch with someone who knew something.

  He along with all knowing jws ,that know of the Watchtower joining the UN will lie no matter what. If the UN is satan himself why would they even ask for a library card or even have any inquire,s with the UN. All the wrightings the Watchtower has done on the evil of the UN, they would not even ask for a piece of toilet paper to wipe their growing nose of lies.
