  Did you give lots of money to the Watchtower?

  i didn't put much money in the contribution box.

  just buying a bigger car was my way of contributing financially.

  i also was generous with the ones in need.. as far as the watchtower's contribution boxes were concerned, they didn't recieve much from me.

  I never did but the husband always did. Especially when our kids were small and we had very little money . He had no problem supporting the cult that he still believes has very little monies. He still gives but he is sneaky and i am not sure how much these days but i know he does.

  Well you can move on but depression does move with you and i do believe a family history of depression and abuse will follow you. Some scares never heal , they may fade but are still present .

  Genetic makeup has a lot to do with depression . I have a long line of depression in my family and the line continues.

  i'm so excited!.

  the wife is on week 8.. i'm trying to figure out how my parents, especially my father is going to take the news when i finally tell them.

  think about it.... if it wasn't for the fact that most of us are/were dubs...we wouldn't even notice their existence.. i used to say that when i was a dub (to the scorn of all)...when they would talk about the wt & aw being the most widely "read" (they took liberty with the word "distributed") mags on earth bullsh*t!.

  except for my visiting jwd... there is almost no evidence of the existence of the dubs in my life...they are a non-issue!.

  they are a lot of drama bout nuthin...really...if you'll step back and notice.... agree or disagree?.

  Agreed but living with a jw helps with the reminder . But even if my husband ever quits the cult i will never stop proclaiming who and what the cult really are, so for me ,they will never go away .

  WTS 2006 Special Campaigns

  in a boe letter dated 2/2/06, the wts listed four special campaigns for 2006:memorial, wed apr 12, 2006 (in a boe letter dated 2/3/06 wts wants elders to help all inactive & new ones attend the memorial.

  the letter said attending the memorial is often a stepping stone to serving jehovah...visit every inactive person in the territory and give an invitation, give every family member that is friendly to the message an invitation).special public talk, sun apr 30, 2006special handbill to advertise district convention - wts is printing handbills to advertise the "deliverance at hand" district convention.

  three weeks before the convention, jws will distribute the handbill in the territory, with family members, and others.
