Raised in the city,lived in the country now for 15yrs.would not want be any were else.I see wild turkeys,deer, pheasent out my window.My house is 1000ft. up a steep hill and i can see forever.City for shopping, country for living.

by JH ini just came back from montreal, and let me tell you the traffic is horrible.
a city of 3.4 million is big.
i rather live in a smaller town like where i live, with not much stress compared to a big city.

We've decided to have a baby! (Advice needed)
by StinkyPantz ini know that many of you gave me the advice to wait until i'm done with school, but what can i say, i'm stubborn .
please share your pre-pregnancy and pregnancy tips that either made things smoother or things you wish you has done to make things easier.
i also want opinions on such things as epidurals, circumcision, nutrition, breast-feeding, money saving tips, etc.

Stinkypanz,i don't know you except for the threads you have written or answered,but i think i am a good judge of personality.You are very wise in youre young age and know you will be a great mom.The best advice i can think of is ,don't get to much advice,it will drive you crazy.When i was pregnant with my first i read every magazine ,talked to everyone that had a baby.All advice (all different) kept going through my head and i wanted to be the perfect mom, no mistakes.I became so depressed and working so hard to do what everyone told me to do.Then i got smart, i tried thing's my way, if they didn't work then i would ask for advice.You will make mistakes,but youre baby will live through it and so will you.Never feel guilty if you want to breastfeed and something goes wrong,formula is just fine.Bottom line,,some info. is good to much is to hard.You will learn from youre baby what is right and wrong just by his personality. kathymother of 4

JES, iam so, so sorry .There is nothing anyone can say to ever stop the hurt.As you probably know my husband is a jw, and i asked him what he would have done if one of his children would have been raped?Spoken like a true mindcontrolled robot ,he said ,,,Jehovah will weed out the bad and punish them.I asked if he would still attend meetings? He said yes.My husband love's his kids but the org has a hold and have covered their ass telling their followers ,,it's the devil telling lies.Jes,,i fell the same as you ,if anyone had touched my kids they would ,and i do mean this ,be dead.JES,, you and all the victims make me hurt more then aything ,and their is nothing i can do . METATRON,you are so right.Remember trolls,every donation you make will pay for a molested child.And as you sit in youre meeting's at the hall ,look and see all those children around you and think,could that child be one that is keeping a secret to protect the watchtower?If the sickness of rapeing a child does not bother you then maybe money will.One way or another you will pay.

I am a natural blond,,,,whoopie.As a kid i was picked on because my hair was so white.As teen i wanted to be burnette, all my girl friends were and i felt like the odd one so i dyed it brown.How did it look?imagine a Ghost with brown hair.The big problem is the term,,DUMB BLOND.Which is so unfair since most are burnettes dyed blond.Today at 45, do i think it get's you places?It depends,my experiance was always ,,guys look,women give dirty looks to other blondes.A far as getting ahead in life ,i think it depends on what the job is and what their so called employer is looking for.If i had a dollar (inflation) for everytime i was asked if i dyed my hair,well i would not be typing this ,i would be on a long vacation. My success? I pushed out four kids,two at home,does that count? kathy

i was having some personal problems, but i was so eager to try my best, and doing quite good in the hall.
i was in a new hall, with a new bunch, and always out in service.

They were very nice (in their own way) when i was in ,but as soon as i stopped going they would give me dirty looks like i was the devil himself.That wasn't as bad but then my own husband started to treat me the same way.The insults,names,and the look that he just hated me were the worse.
