Many, many years ago I spent several hours in Church Street Station. It was when we lived in Jacksonville and I was waiting on a friend who was VERY late. I sat at one of the bars and the bartender told me stories about the place being haunted. It's a cool old building and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was haunted!

Leaving Las Vegas
Hands down the most depressing movie I've ever seen. My hubbie and I looked at each other at the end and said "that's it?"
Recently tried to watch "What the Bleep Do We Know" and thought I was going to die of boredom. I guess I'm not one of those deep thinker types.

i've had several expereiences with ouija boards, some interesting, some disturbing, and as skeptical as i try to be i have to admit i have seen it personally say things and do things that i can not logically explain.
some say its your sub-conscience, some say its spirits, others say its demons.
i am just wondering if any of you have had experiences with the ouija board, what they were, and what you believe about them, supernatural or just another simple amusement?
I believe that Ouija boards are real. However, that being said, I have heard said many times that Ouija boards bring in "psychic junk". Being on many home investigations of paranormal activity, the first question we ALWAYS ask is if a Ouija board has been recently used. I believe it can invite unwanted spirits that may be hard to rid yourself of.
I'm sure I will get many arguments regarding this post, but there are many other ways to contact the "other side" than Ouija boards.

they are 15 days old, and trying to work their way out of the bathroom closet!
3 of them, two twins and one black one.
Kitties! So sweet! The orange ones look like my Nemo. We have two litter mates that are about 8 months old. Nemo and Dory. Dory is a Calico. They are DEMONS! But sweet as can be when they want to be. We recently got both fixed, but are trying to decide whether or not to get them de-clawed.
I'll have to post some pics.

Take a towel or a washcloth and put it in the freezer. After it's good and cold, put it around the back of your neck. It does wonders.
It's hot in Michigan, too. Supposed to be 95 over the weekend.

your alone in your house, home, apt.and out of the corner of your eye you see something, someone, pass by like a shadow, very fast!
Being a ghosthunter myself, I have not yet seen Shadow People, but just about every member of my group has. We did a quite intensive investigation of a house last year, and, much like what Country has Girl reported, it was built on some Indian burial grounds. Not uncommon in Michigan.
Everyone has a right to be a skeptic, but I have seen and heard and I will continue to search. The "Truth is Out There".

Hi Sabrina and welcome.
I have been DF'd for 20 or so years now and my mom is, and always will be, a JW. I have two sons, now ages 19 and 23. When they were small, she used to talk to them about the 'truth' at every opportunity and drag them to meetings whenever possible. They always came home and talked about Grandma's 'crazy religion'. They were never confused about it and never really asked questions about why I never went to the Kingdom Hall. They just knew their mommy wasn't 'one of those' and knew they didn't want to be one either. But, despite this, they loved, and still love, their Grandma.
I wouldn't worry about it and be thankful your mom still wants to be a part of his life. So many people on this board experience the opposite.
