No, I'm sorry I dont. I am just trying to find someone in my old cong. area. I wish i could find someone that I grew up with that isnt still being controlled by that religion.That would mean so much to me. I would like to find someone that I could comfort too, because it will feel like I am not alone and I really do feel as if I have something to offer, the truth about the Grace of God.

I need some help with mom
by armorgan inmy mom is 54 years old and the bitter and unhappy result of a lifetime of sadness that is i believe a direct result of the watchtowers grip on her life and the family.
she has basically decided that she no longer needs god.
it seems as if she blames jehovah for her unhappiness.

She has basically decided that she no longer needs god. It seems as if she blames Jehovah for her unhappiness. I hate to see that because it isnt god's fault that there is a controlling organization that ruins peoples lives. She seems to want to stay in that mindset. I think lately she is trying to pull herself out of it. I want her to find someone to love so much it hurts sometimes. I think that she deserves so much more, but try convincing her of that. It has been 13 years since her and my dad split, it is time for her to find happiness. Anyone here a single older respectable Gentleman, with morals, and intelligence, who is about 50 or 60 something. Mom is a short cute little woman, with brains and spunk, who likes movies and reading and is a teacher. she has many good qualities that are going to waste.

Will I always be a JW??????? :(
by Jesika ini was wondering, since i was raised a jw, will i ever get rid of the mindset of being a jw.
i have been out for 12yrs, but still find that certain things i say, or think, or react to remind me of being a jw.
like with the current things going on with iraq and the us.

Well I certainly know what you mean. I know that I will always in some way have the residual beliefs, the stuff like the holdiays and resurrection and paradise always creep their way back in there occasionally. I was born in "the truth" also and it has taken me years and a loving man's determination and patience with me to finally see what the real truth is, and once you do boy, it is hard and wonderful all at the same time. luckily my now husband was very knowledgable of the bible and very intelligent, and he was able to reason real fact with me, i could not ignore.
