so if someone puts their life into serving the cult for free at bethel, then say after 25 or 30 years they are not able to for one reason or another such as illness, or family issue or old age, does the cult have any safety net for these people or is it you serve until you can't and when you can't you just go away?

the so-called caliph, one of the most evil men in human history, has blown himself up along with three of his young children while being pursued by american special forces.. the ambition of isis was to expand the territory of the caliphate under the leadership of al-baghdadi to whom individual jihadists swear allegiance.
now isis have nowhere to call home and no leader.
what a pathetic bunch of losers.. they will of course appoint a new caliph and reprisal attacks will no doubt follow in western capitals by christmas but the more contemptible they appear they less likely it is that young men and women will join their delusional cause.. respect to the elite forces who hunted him down - those on the front line and the many intelligence specialists who made it possible.
Maybe if Obama had not been so pandering to Islam a few more Americans would be alive.
rickroll ...
If I do properly recall, Obama was in charge to eliminate (kill) Osama Bin Laden.

To keep me in good favors here on this website, I like Trump, I love Trump.
I really like the bird nest thing he puts on his head. Kurds are not real people.
I am getting a Trump tattoo on my lower portions. My wife said she will be using a blindfold in those "special" moments. But then, who is she?
In any case, Trump in 2020, 2024, 2028, 2034, 2036 ... or for time indefinite, even forever.
I have that special feeling.

during the first talk tonight, the brother giving the talk indicated that now comments were to include sisters!
previously mostly only brothers were mentioned in most prayers or comments - has anyone else heard this tonight?.
the meeting seemed to be positioned directly to and about sisters.
and pray, all with a proper headcovering (not a napkin or similar)
Blondie ...
Forgive my lack of research on this, but when I was little and went to my grandparents for lunch, my grandmother would put a napkin or paper on her head to pray if my grandfather was not in the room.
I didn't know there was some sort of official head covering to wear.

i hear some people say that if you are a republican or democrat that you must not be very educated, intelligent or monetarily stable.
.
do you think it’s proper to paint any person as less than favorable because of their political opinions?
Yes, Min, there are rich and poor democrats, rich and poor republicans, rich and poor independents.
It's just that in a recent Fox News Poll, the poorer democrats and independents tend to have teeth and not play the banjo.

i came across this article written in 2004 by an evangelical.. “when did jerusalem fall?”, rodger young, journal of the evangelical society [jets], 47/1 (march 2004), 21-38.. http://www.rcyoung.org/articles/jerusalem.pdf .
these are the conclusions of the 18-page analysis.
(1) jerusalem fell in the fourth month (tammuz) of 587 bc.
When we finally have the answer, we can then move on to the next topic of whether the leading edge of Ezekiel's Wheel within a Wheel was turning clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Thank you. I will have one ordered today and get down the basics for jw dot org before I give it to them. I can see how it would be good for someone older that cannot really read that well anymore and well, technically challenged.
I don't mind helping them but it's the same thing over and over ... can't find this, where is the remote, are the batteries good, why does the GB use Roku instead of a regular channel, blah blah blah.
Since it plugs in, they can just sit in their house and listen to the stuff all day ... that would be great for me!

Thanks for the info.
I do have an elderly uncle and aunt who struggle with technology and even have problems at times figuring the jw dot org stuff due to their eyesight. Even switching over to the Roku from the remote and then back can be a challenge. I am the one that ends up going to their place and try to explain how all the stuff works.
If the Echo does the daily text and maybe the study article from the WT for the week, that would really save me a lot of aggravation when they get "stuck" with something and I get that phone call asking for help.
I will check out the Echo since I do not have one of these devices in my own home. I do see they have a Gen 3 thing for about $100 on amazon. I also see they have a 3.5 audio jack on the back which would be good if the sound coming from the small speaker is not the best.
