For the hard - assed GB ....only sand paper would clean their hemorroid infected asses

I would recommend a radial disc sander starting with 80 grit sandpaper.
The cordless Ryobi model P411 would personally be my choice.

of all the things people decided they needed to stockpile for a potential quarantine.
all of the stores around my area ran completely out of toilet paper this last weekend.
people were piling it into their carts and vehicles as if they were going to be holed up for a year.

i went to my local walmart today and most of the can goods and frozen foods were sold out.

bulk ammo is sold out just over night.
I have a couple hundred 357 and 38 special rounds in the attic and will shoot the damn virus if I see it.

but then why use paper - just sit on the toilet and flush it every 10 minutes

LMAO ... When working from home, grab a laptop and make the toilet your chair.
If on a video conference or Skype, just remember to move the air fresheners out of view.

my area is a large city spread across two u.s. states and multiple different cities and counties.
the area of 2.5 million is covered by parts of 4-5 different circuits.
many of those attending meetings are at-risk individuals with health problems or age related risk.
JW's seem to be damned if they do and damned if they don't in to so many on this site

I agree. It seems to be like a political thing at times. If you didn't like Obama, no matter what he did was bad. Now, if you don't like the Orange Man, no matter what he does is bad.
I guess it just goes with the territory.

People would have to be shitting continually, but then why use paper - just sit on the toilet and flush it every 10 minutes.

Maybe it's like spiritual food. You take in too much of it and you just sit on the toilet and blow gas.

this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.
latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.
They say 60% alcohol kills the virus. On that basis I know some folks whose body will be totally immune to the disease.

I guess you could count me in there. Let them sneeze or cough on me, I generally feel protected.

637.5 shits per DAY! So a person that grabbed up 4 cases of TP from Costco when it was available

I guess that gives the term "you're full of shit" more credibility.

I have two complete sets dating back to the 1950's from deceased relatives. I guess I could just read and shit and use whatever paragraphs I don't agree with as I choose.

and the worst is all the bars are closed so no one has a place to cry in their beer. I always feel a little humor keeps all from going nuts.
Still Totally ADD ...
For what it's worth, I have followed the government's recommendations on having at least a two week supply of basic goods.
My wine rack is full, I have several liters of scotch and vodka, four cases of beer and plenty of chips and salsa. I have several racks of ribs in the freezer along with several pounds of shrimp along with a dozen boxes of Rice-a-Roni and plenty of toilet paper.
I'm in this for the long haul. Cheers.

Seriously, I am glad to keep this apolitical as the topic requests. I am glad that our Supreme Leader, Commander in Chief, or other respectful terms no longer considers this crisis as a hoax.
It was actually very encouraging to hear him speak in a dignified and respectful manner and no name-calling.
He just needs to get the virus testing kits available to anyone who needs them. I keep hearing repeatedly that South Korea tests 15,000 people every day and we (US) have only tested a total of 25,000 or so.
I don't understand what South Korea has that we don't have.
