any thoughts?
i would expect vancouver and toronto to be huge epicenters with the rate of international travel there.
with vancouver highly asian and toronto a mixture of everywhere, they are either just behind in the cycle or doing something that makes more sense than what is happening here.. rub a dub.

My wife got a link from a woman she works with and a song on You Tube called "Stay the F*%# at Home"
In the interest of decorum, I am not posting the link here but to us it was hilarious; some old guy with a long white beard playing the piano. Definitely an adult thing. Just type it into the search bar, then click on the EXPLICIT version. It seems to be going viral.
I'm not recommending anyone to go there but .... well .... if you do .... report back.

Tell me about it.
I'm getting tired of my wife slapping me for chewing on the furniture.

with zoom, i need to donate ( for wife's sake).
does the on line thing give a cut to the society?
i really dont want to see my donation skimmed.
zoom is free to use and you can extend services with a subscription
oppostate ...
The last I checked, Zoom was free but has a lot of limitations such as a maximum of 40 minutes per session. It wouldn't make sense for them to use the free version and have to restart the session in the middle of the meeting.
The Pro version was like 15 per month for a single host (congregation), up to 100 participants and no time limit.
Knowing the Society, they will want things more centralized and want an Advanced or Enterprise plan which is still in the 15-20 dollar range per host, up to 1,000 participants in each session but you have to have a minimum number of hosts, like 50 or something. Big Brother would have more control and they can control and "view" the groups when the "meetings" are on.

trying to put politics aside (even though that won't really work), but ny governor andrew cuomo is blowing the other politicians out out the water (orange man [trump] and the lizard [biden]).. i don't know if cuomo has a usb port in the back of his head plugged into a hard drive but the guy speaks, analyzes and talks coherently.
the orange man always passes difficult questions to someone else.
the lizard can't comprehend what the question is but tries to answer something.. cuomo comes out with facts, analysis and direction on what needs to be done.
I still can't believe that Fox "News" is playing Cuomo about 2 hours a day. I must admit that Cuomo can talk and at least sounds like he knows what he's talking about (I guess) but I am just surprised by the amount of time he is on Fox. I was flicking through the channels and I didn't see him at the moment on CNN but there he was live on Fox.
He's either extremely intelligent or spends the rest of his day prepping for the next day's news conference. As with most upper level politicians and business people, they have speech writers and assistants preparing their stuff. But someone is feeding him a ton of specifications, facts and stuff and he seems to digest and regurgitate it well.

how will the borg be able to count the partakers(144,000 anointed) since jws are to celebrate the memorial at home?

what challenges do you see?
As far as i know the extra wine goes home with someone
Carla ...
My father (Congregation Servant who bought the wine) always brought the extra wine home and it was "gone" the next day.
this morning my wife made the comment ... "we'll probably experience famine next.".
i don't know that she'd come up with this on her own.
has anyone else heard a jw talking about this?.
I know that as borders continue to close enjoy your oranges and bananas while you can
hoser ...
Yes, enjoy them while you can. Once they close the state borders we will have them all for ourselves to enjoy here in Florida.
Sorry, could not resist. We'll just get screwed down here without fresh Jersey tomatoes. There is nothing like them. Expensive for the shipping, but nothing like them.

oh my goodness!
how come we never thought of this before?
if the israelites had animals to sacrifice to jehovah in the wilderness, then how come their god jehovah had to give them manna so they wouldn't starved to death?.
that story is full of holes.
