I hope Biden doesn't choose, as you call her, the "Halfwit from Michigan", as his running mate as has been talked about on several channels.
IMO, it would do him no good.

like the guy or not, i don't know how this guy can talk so much, giving fact after fact and analyze what is going on, not just in new york but across the country.
he's not reading from notes and there are no teleprompters.
he gives about an hour to an hour and a half at press conferences every day and fox news carries it.. i mean, as i am listening, he's saying they moved 802 ventilators from this state to that state, 412 came here to new york .... on and on.

let me think of a few advantages to having mexico do more manufacturing for us:.
- low cost labor .
- just drive around or jump over the wall to see family and friends.
We bought a brand new house that had toilets that NEVER worked properly. Made in Mexico ... The washer sounds like a cement mixer ... The dryer FRIES our clothes on the coolest setting

Don't confuse Mexican technology with Mexican labor. Companies don't move to places like Mexico for technology, they take their own technology and use the cheaper labor.
Apple, among other companies, aren't setting up manufacturing facilities in countries such as Vietnam because of the technology that exists there. No, it is for the labor. Depending on how you want to value the Chinese Yuan (¥), the Chinese labor force makes somewhere in the $3.50 per hour average wage. Labor in Vietnam with be less than half of that.
Often parts are produced in their "home" countries and then sent to places like Mexico to be assembled (which opens up a legal can of worms on when you can label something "made in the USA".) You may be sourcing parts and sub-assemblies from all over the world. But where is it really made? Ms. Rub a Dub deals with this stuff every day. It's a combination of law and mathematics on what percentages of what is done where and how does it contribute to the intended use of the final product. Too much legal reading for me!
Back to the original comment, I'm curious, what brand name(s) were the toilet, washer and dryer?

mia was almost 8 and she was the sweetest dog who was my girlfriend’s constant companion.
she had a wonderful disposition and was just a source of joy to everyone who would meet her.. she was brought to the vet on thursday and seemed to have digestive issues.
the vet gave her medicine and said it would make her sleepy.

We had a lion head rabbit as a pet and had it trained very well. You called her, and she would hop over and loved to have her head and back scratched. Stand up and spread your legs a little and she would run figure 8's through your legs. She really became a part of the family.
She died about 2 years ago and my wife still mentions her about once a week.
I totally understand your situation.

You don't see that from a lot of politicians, so kudos to him [Cuomo] ...and I hope his brother, Chris is doing better, guess we will know tonight.

It also give kudos to Carlson and Hannity on Fox News who, although they both said they don't agree with Chris on his politics (and Chris competes on CNN directly against Carlson at 8PM), ended both of their shows with best wishes and prayers to him and his family to get through this difficult time.

for that matter using marijuana without taking it into your lungs but by drops, edibles.
i have never heard definitively what their view of mm is.
.
If there is no "drug" (THC, nicotine, etc.) involved then technically there would not be anything wrong with it, in and of itself. Even by their own standards.
However, you likely would have the "stumble others" scripture thrown at you in a minute.

Make locally and buy locally, it's better for us all.
Yes, I was just expanding "local" to include this hemisphere. It would be a huge leap forward and far better than China.

I mean, as I am listening, he's saying they moved 802 ventilators from this state to that state, 412 came here to New York .... on and on. He's even mentioning specific hospital names. Then he's discussing the number of people in certain hotels that they have changed to hospital units.
Then he's explaining about how they plan moving the resources from one state to another, similar to what they do when hurricanes hit in a certain area. Then he's pissed at some in New York who have been outside and not doing the 6 foot distance thing.
Then he takes most of the questions from the press and when there are specifics, he answers them himself.
I still don't understand how he can keep all of this stuff in his head and have such long press conferences daily and even have non-New York stuff at his fingertips.
I bet he was great in college when it was time to cram for a test!
