Sorry, but with liquor laws from Prohibition times and a narrow Turnpike that resembles an old country road .... well ... there are much better places. The Turnpike doesn't even connect into the main highway, I-95 without having to drive through somebodies backyard.

Narrow two lanes roads that should be widened ... but wait ... they can't do that because there is a tree in the way that George Washington or someone pissed on in some war that is now a monument.

They can do much better.

How Would You React if a Snake Started Talking to You?

just an odd thought i guess.

i saw a large snake in the back of my house the other day and it went on its merry way.

i just asked myself, what if the snake turned around and wanted to have a philosophical discussion on life, the universe or the origin of creation and then began to ask me questions?

Would I get a shovel and kill it or pull up a chair for an afternoon chat?

I really don't know.

In love with disfellowshipped JW

i started dating a coworker who is a divorced jw.

found out he was disfellowshipped, and he was trying to figure out how to make things work.

i am not a jw, and his family is not supportive of the relationship.

I think the children thing is the big issue here. I don't know your ages, but if children are on the horizon, then stop. Growing up as a JW is hard enough with two strong JW parents. I, and many others here, will agree. Putting a child into the situation in schools is VERY tough unless you are both one way or the other.

There is no middle-ground in JW world. If it is what you want, go for it. But getting into that situation will be very difficult. Think of a devout Muslim family with a new Jewish family member. No matter how you slice it, unless you convert, there will be pain. And a lot of it.

Why is this an APOSTATE site?!?

i made a big mistake when signing up at this supposed website for jehovah's witnesses.

after reading some things on this site it has become apparent to me that this site is nothing put another pathetic site for apostates: people who betrayed jehovah, left the truth, and are so bitter about their experiene in the truth, and they are angry just like satan because they know they will very soon be dead at jehovah's hand!.

this website should be renamed something more fitting like "satan's playground" or a similar name that would get across the message of your site.. sincerely,.

Still under the radar and not a lot of details ...

But yes, I "moved" to a different congregation (same area, just for reasons I gave as business and changing meeting times) and basically said I did not want to do it anymore. At the time, you were basically, automatically given the position with the new congregation with a nice letter from the old congregation.

The reason I said to the new congregation was not wanting to be on any more JC's ... but was told that was part of the organizational arrangement. I basically told them it was not part of my arrangement. I didn't have to wait for the CO to visit. I basically told them I quit.

In a year or two, I will give more details.
