  in minneapolis, the city council has voted to abolish the police.. many cities want to either disband or defund the police.

  black lives matter and other groups have influenced citizens and neighborhoods to get rid of police and their authority.

  is anyone really supportive of removing the police or cutting out law enforcement through the budget?

  Maybe Black Lives Matter thanks that they will become a de facto police force.

  I'm making preparations.

  If I'm driving and get pulled over for making a wrong turn or something, I'll just scream out to the police "That Mo Fo cut in front of me."

  I'm working on the various possibilities, permutations, phrases and voice intonations for various traffic patterns and offenses, especially around rush hour.

  I don't understand this whole thing about abolishing the police. I really don't.

  If someone is breaking into your house, stealing your car or something else, do you call 911 and order a pizza?

  Or if there is a gang-fight and shots fired in the night would it be best to call a social worker and expect him/her to come with a notepad and give everyone a time out?

  Maybe it's me. I just don't get it.

  I would have expected maybe 2PM or 3PM but noon?

  I think this COVID-19 thing has everyone messed up.

  I’m Seeing Some Trump Fatigue Out There

  i’ve heard from a few trump voters that they are getting tired of the whole trump thing.

  one person yesterday said he lies.

  another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.

  Yes, earlier in my career as an Operations Manager, before I did consulting, I hired, interviewed, or at least recommended at least 20 people over a 10 year span. They all were hired and most, not all as I recall two exceptions, but most worked out well. One was an IT guy who was great, IMO. But after lunch he often seemed a bit out of it for awhile. I thought maybe he had too much to drink at lunch.

  Well, I found out later that he and his girlfriend he had met from another department asked me, after the three of us went out to lunch one day, "Rub a Dub, do you want to do a line?" They did. I watched.

  We all make mistakes hiring. But if I had the turnover ratio of our great leader, the Human Resources Department would never have gotten me involved in the process.

  If he keeps "rolling the heads" at the rate he has been doing it, they will need to get a booth at the next job fair. Dress professionally and bring your resume.

  i love rhythm and blues and soul music.

  i love funk but i also enjoy music of the 60s and 70s.

  just not really into classical or country western although some country is pretty good..

  I will die with (in the old Song Book) song 32, Gratitude for Divine Patience in my head. As kids in the hall, when you had a real piano at the KH, we would practice that after the meetings.

  I know nothing else on the piano, but I can play that song with with three or four fingers to this day.

  It's kind of scary. When I hear Billy Joel's Piano Man, I get flashbacks to that song and break out in a cold sweat.
