  i fully expected to see him 'progress' to clean-shaven in the following pictures, but instead he is still bearded when 'applying bible principles'.. .

  i then realized that he was already featured on the cover itself.. .

  Organized Rioting Across America Due To A Black Man’s Death

  cities across america have been pillaged and destroyed these last few days.

  a white policeman has been charged with murder of a black man.

  protests have been organized across major us cities and horrible riots have occurred.

  Hmmm nothing wrong with people wanting to be with their own kind.

  I guess my sarcasm highlights my point.

  When personally, I hear the term "own kind" I think of people. When I hear the word dog, I think of dog. When I hear the work cat, I think of cat.

  I don't automatically attach a color to a dog, cat or another human being.

  How Can So Many Protesters (George Floyd) Be From "Somewhere Else?"

  i hear every mayor, every politician, claiming that the protesters are coming in from "other states".

  at some point, with about 130 cities that had protests over the last weekend, where the hell are people coming from???.

  there are only 50 states (57 per obama, but that includes us territories and kenya).

  Desirous ...

  That was sort of my point, how can everyone be from "out of town?" Is there no civic responsibility or duty to support one's own community?

  If I throw a brick or smash a local business, doesn't the company go to my local Home Depot / Lowes / Ace / Menards or other local place and purchase materials to rebuild and support the local workers? Why go out of town to do that?

  There are only 50 States (57 per Obama, but that includes US Territories and Kenya). So where are these people coming from? Are they just on a tour or something?

  If you want to protest, and I can understand, but why not stay close to home? Save the fuel, travel expenses, whatever. Find a near-by city. Get a local hotel. Do whatever.

  But why when people are arrested is there a long list of States that people came from? Can't they find their own protest?

  i mean, after all, she did kill a man.sympathy instantly dries up; making her agonizing death--as awful as it was--much less empathetic.

  Thunderous Applause Around The Stadium

  growing up in the 70's and 80's in the jw religion who remembers the massive stadium gigs the watchtower used to hold?.

  we used to denounce false religion in the starkest of terms.

  we were right and by god we were letting anyone who listened know it.

  Thinking back to the mid-late 1960's and 1970's from what I can remember as a poor black child (ok, I'm white, but still was poor), was the way in which the speakers late in the day at Yankee Stadium (New York) on the week-long assembles could get the masses all pumped up.

  The speaker would make a sentence in a very low, baritone voice. Always started with "Brothers". Then followed by a long pause.

  Then, at a higher level, another statement.

  Then yet, at a higher level, another statement.

  Then, finally, almost yelling, "Brothers, don't we all agree that ........................................."

  Everyone would clap, stand up, clap some more, etc, etc, etc.

  The speaker could have said virtually anything (Brothers, don't we agree that the moon is made of cheese ... that there are aliens here among us .....) yes, anything. It made no difference what the speaker said, but everyone would still stand up and applaud.

  It was kind of weird actually. You were standing up, applauding before he even finished the sentence and not even knowing what you were applauding for.

  How Would You React if a Snake Started Talking to You?

  just an odd thought i guess.

  i saw a large snake in the back of my house the other day and it went on its merry way.

  i just asked myself, what if the snake turned around and wanted to have a philosophical discussion on life, the universe or the origin of creation and then began to ask me questions?
