  one person here mentioned that nikki haley (parents are from india) is a woman of color.. what defines "woman of color?

  But what today is "white"? My Columbian wife is "whiter" than I am. She has that Spaniard/Andulusian flamingo dancer white complexian. She needs like SPF 1000 to go to the beach or on the boat. Very white complexion. But of course, she is Hispanic.

  I was somewhat skeptical about this video. But when I used some tools to listen in closely to the elder that told him to stop the talk, the elder simply told him "You can't keep giving this talk with your flies wide open."

  JW's and the National Anthem/Flag

  one thing we were always taught in the past is how we should sit down and pray (kneel) to jehoober whenever we were at an event where they played the national anthem.

  we had to actively disrespect the flag and anthem and be no part of the world, because we were our own country with jesus as king.. given kneeling/sitting for the national anthem is now the favorite pastime of the far-left and if you do so, you get associated with democrats, how do jehovah's witnesses now 'become no part of this world' when they have to disrespect the flag?.

  I see there is some concern now among the JW "upper management" about the sitting for the national anthem. Since sitting or taking a knee is considered a political or racial statement, there seems to be some internal buzz (from a very good source) that standing for the national anthem may be allowed at some point as long as you don't put your hand on your heart, sing or some other motion that displays "worship".

  I already commented that we are allowed to stand up in court when a judge enters the room to show respect for the position. Why not stand up and show respect for the country? I would not put my hand over my heart to pledge allegiance to the judge. But standing is just a matter of respect for the position.

  I am mostly Northern European and my Columbian wife is as "white" or more so than I am. As she always complains about surveys or other things here in the US, they have Caucasian as one check box and Hispanic as another. What if you are both, white and speak Spanish. As she correctly argues, Hispanic is simply the language you speak.

  I used to work with a guy who always called jokingly himself an African-American. He was born in Africa, South Africa, probably after some generations of the British rule. His skin was as white as a KKK hat. So was he a "man of color"?

  In today's world, color is a very difficult thing to determine.

  Very true. But there was at least a lot of talk and buzz about John McCain picking Joe Lieberman, an Independent Dem for VP, back when he ran. He chose Sarah Palin instead.

  I guess with things getting increasingly polarized the thought of that happening would likely not happen.

  also, i had thought about past watchtower articles or publications related to this topic and did some research and found this from our readers ask if adam was perfect, how was it possible for him to sin?.

  well, then, did god create adam with a moral weakness, so that he lacked the ability to make sound decisions or to withstand temptation?
