typically, what life does a jw lead?
witnesses relish the thought that they are "different" from the rest of the "world"......how so???

Well, I certainly tried, but I was constantly told that by using unusual settings or two partners in my talk, I was seeking praise for myself and not for God's word.
Creativity is apparently not appreciated in God's righteous kingdom. No wonder I was always in a friggin' panic about what the f I would do in Paradise forever. Not that I thought there was a chance in hell I would make it through Armegeddon.
isn't that sad that all those people who put their trust in god, and did good deads to help one another will all die because they couldn't figure out the "riddle" of the true religion.. i see my old parents go to church (catholic) every week, and they truly believe that they will be saved.
is there a religion that doesn't think that they won't be saved?.
if the witnesses are right, over 99.99% of beleivers will die at armageddon, and 100% of unbelievers will die at armageddon.
I almost never worry about it any more. Problem solved.

as i was growing up i remember that we, as jehovah's witnesses, took great pride in showing people god's name in their own bible.
we were the only religion(or so i was told anyway) that used god's name.
our bible, the new world translation, put god's name back where it belonged.
It is good to see someone with suc strong conviction that God exists!!!
It's equally as good to see someone with such a strong command of the English language, as well as it's spelling!
how can those doing the monitoring not be affected by what they read here?.
how can anyone not be affected by the paedophilia scandal, the un scandal, the 1975 debacle?.
how do they find someone to read here and still stay a jw?.

yep - you read that right.. i had a message on my answering machine - a jw i used to know long ago, left a message, wanting me to help out with some legal matters (i have worked for the criminal justice system for about 15 yrs now).. my husband just about had a cow - here's someone who wouldn't talk to me at the grocery store, but has no problem talking to me if they need something?
i thought to myself, could this person really be that nieve about human social situations - ie: if you're going to be mean to someone, don't expect a favor from them .
ok ok, i know - i should show more christian attitude, turn the other cheek, and call this person back.

has it ever happened to you, something so dispicable you would rather go to your grave, not having forgiven someone a wrong they had done you, hopeful that god would sort it out in the end?
mind you, i know things like child molestation, rape and murder are things for which it is difficult, if not impossible, to be forgiving of.
that being said, where does one draw the line on forgiveness?

i am extremely skeptical about this, yet people on this forum seem to talk about it as though it were a fact.
so has anyone got any actual concrete proof?
here are the reasons why i don't think they do:.
I am not saying whose falt it is. I am just saying that they are knocked out already - fight over. If you keep knocking them while they are on the ground unconscious then you will ger arrested!!!!
