I met with a surgeon yesterday about blood - wow
by BonaFide ini was asked by a friend to go with an older sister yesterday to the hospital to talk with her surgeon about her upcoming major surgery.
hospital liason committee told her to watch the society's video on blood, and if she can't get her surgeon to agree on non-blood treatments, then they will help.
it was the weirdest experience of my life.

As far as Jehovah of the Bible goes, what's there to love? He dangles things in front of you only to rip them away as soon as you do one little thing wrong - or don't do something he or his WT minions - say is right. If you actually DO get something from prayer, it's his undeserved kindness. If you don't, it's because YOU are no good. Or it's not his time. Or it's not what he wants for you. Yet he'll never directly let you know. He gave life then he continually threatens to take it away - and often did, with no regret whatsoever. He only felt badly because he used water last time around - next time, he'll use fire. The bible had one thing right: Don't throw your pearls before swine. He is not even worthy of the kind of love I give to my cat.

Regarding WTWizard's alleged "anger issues" - so a guy can't be righteously angry at what he perceives to be deception of the worst kind? Yet you religious sorts have NO problem with Jehovah getting pissed off and killing innocent children in a Flood, nor killing at Armegeddon those of us who don't behave in the manner YOU feel correct and proper because of YOUR interpretation of a book. I think Wizard's anger is much more rational and justified than Jehovah's. What a spoiled, psychotic, sociopathic brat Jehovah is. Even as a dub in the Borg, I had huge problems with Jehovah's personality. ANYONE with a brain and a heart can see there is something very wrong there. Jehovah needs to go into the psych hospital - and fast, before he harms more innocent persons.

Being Reinstated After being DFed - Were You Treated Bad Back Inside ?

well- my relationship with my daughters at the time improved - however i was still shunned by rank and file members inside the congregation.

My daughters and I never got invited anywhere except to the congregation picnics - which, of course, were stopped. I forget the reason but I'm sure I could guess. We would try to get people to our house but there was a NON BELIEVER in there, so most declined. I'm sure they all felt justified in their assessment of me and my daughters once I was DFed. P*ss on them.

i noticed that in the september "public" watchtower, they equate higher education with the badness of illegal drugs, social websites, and fornication.

The WTS wants you to think and analyze when the purpose is to trash and eventually eschew other religions (if you are part of one) but once you're signed up, that requirement does not apply to their own teachings. All of a sudden, you're an "Independent thinker" which, according to the WTS, is a bad thing.
