  i read a post the other day where someone mentioned not liking those who just whined and were obviously looking for hugs and attention.. i realize i do this.

  it's because there are so many wonderful people here who care and understand.

  in all the time i've been here, i've only gotten two kind of nasty replies to my posts.

  ok,here is a switch.how about we try to post only answers first,rather than ask a question.for example:the answer to your ???

  now minimus, wouldn't it be great if you can get 4,000 posts with only answers and not questions.i know that you are the master question man with jh hot on your trail.remember" the shell answer man ?

  "how about ,minimus,the answer man,this way we all here on this forum ask you the questions and you answer.. just something different to freshen up the forum with an interesting twist, how far do you think we can take it.i'm thinking 4,000 answer posts from you.. blueblades ,kinder like jeopardy,the answer is?

  talk about kicking you when you are down!

  you all know i just lost my first baby through miscarriage and that my mum was supportive through out the whole ordeal... well it didn't last.

  she called me last night and informed me that there had been a committee meeting held and that the elders had decided due to the circumstances that they would disfellowship me.

  are you happier since you've found this place?

  if jwd were gone tomorrow, would you just look for another site to get involved with?

  my opinion of this board is that it is one of the best boards to learn current information from.

  YES. Emphatically so.

  This place is just what I need at a time in my life when I have no one else. Tim is great, but he doesn't understand the JW thing at all....

  I tried to stay away for a while (partially because I made a total fool of myself on the "manners" thread), but I couldn't.

  The love here is overwhelming.

  Had I experienced this kind of love and acceptance at the KH, I wouldn't be here today.

  I told my partner that in my opinion, this is the best forum I've ever seen on the net. Where else can one discuss every subject under the sun with persons who share a similar background and, in many cases, belief system?

  I've talked about everything here...and gotten loving responses...from topics as diverse as ebay to formal dresses to disfellowshipping to oral sex to...whatever.

  Where else on the internet can you find that all in one "place"?

  I do love it here.

  You know, a little while ago I was very upset because I found out that there is actually a Yahoo group devoted to making fun of MY Yahoo group for a folk-rock artist. I was devastated. I couldn't understand why anyone would make fun of my honest hearted efforts to create a flame free group in which we could discuss Al's work. Then my partner said, "these are the compliments life hands you. Accept it". I had to think about it.

  He's right.

  Minimus, this is the compliment life is handing you. Think about it.
