famous jehovahs witnesses
by Rush inthis is my first post.. when i was still a witness myself, there were some perennial stories regarding 'famous' jehovahs witnesses or ex's.
does anyone know any truth or have any proof about the following: hank marvin, cliff richard and more importantly, the man who hit the gong in the 'rank' movies?.
if you have anyone of note you want to tell me about, i'd most appreciate it too.. cheers, rush.

If anybody here has seen the "Eagles" I'd like to fall down and do an act of worship to you.
Quite frankly, if anyone here has seen Al Stewart, I'll worship her/him as well.

From another thread:
where else does the media so vividly show females as equal
When I read this, I had to wonder: Is there something wrong with doing so? Portraying women as equals? Are we not? ????
Been meaning to post this for a while; I just so routinely disappoint myself with my lack of eloquence.
But here goes anyway...I honestly wonder how many men -really- think women are their "equals". That concept, in my (admittedly not always so astute) observation, seems.to make so many men so very uncomfortable.
This is an honest question, and honest answers would be appreciated. If you don't feel comfortable stating that you don't find women equal, you can just PM me. I won't get upset, nor will I tell anyone. I am just, as of late, really starting to think that some men honestly do feel that women are inferior creatures. WTS society aside, okay? Unless the WTS concept of submission has truly impacted your views, of course. I would really like to know what you gentlemen truly think. And screw political correctness.

Movie Titles for JW Talks
by Stephanus inperhaps the borg should consider trying to enliven the boring old meetings by giving talks, both special needs and others, spiffy movie style titles.
for a talk on volunteering to help out in for field service: "dude, where's your car?".
for a chat on the latest us stats and figures: "american pie chart".

Jesika & pr_capone's wedding plans -- Friday, July 11, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.
by cruzanheart inwe changed the wedding from saturday in order to give the newlyweds a chance to spend the weekend relaxing and getting settled as an official couple.
also, by having it friday night there is a chance, a possibility, that big tex will be able to get the night off so he can give the bride away (*sniffle*).
and there is also a chance, a possibility, that our beloved district overbeer will perform the wedding.

First for me was Bob Dylan.
As for the rest, I can't remember all of them, even though there aren't that many, but I do remember:
Paul McCartney
George Harrison
Van Morrison
and, of course, Al Stewart (about 12 times now)
