eBay been very good to me
Me too, gently. I just estimated...over 6 months, I have spent 1200 dollars on ebay. I have gotten over 4,000 in clothes, jewelry and gifts. All good designers like Ann Taylor, Liz Claiborne, DKNY, Calvin Klein,,Jones New York, BCBG, Dana Buchman and even a fake Prada sample. Two beautiful new evening gowns, 7 brand new suits, many many silk dresses and blouses.. jeans, skirts, lingerie....diamond pendants for my sisters....

What is The Zaniest Thing You've Ever Done?
by Frannie Banannie inmy most zany thing was back in 1970 when i lived in maryland....i was working for the pr.
geo.
and also had a part time job in the evening working for giant food in their payroll/personnel dept.....one evening, my boss at giant food in hyattsville, phoned me and told me that a coworker of his was going to come down to the office and that if i would provide him with transportation to where they were meeting, i could have the rest of the evening off and he would write in my time as though i'd worked the whole evening as usual....great!

I didn't get the job
by Elsewhere ini have been doing contract work for about four years now and i have been trying to get a permanent position for well over a year.
last week i did an interview for a job that would have been perfect.
it was even very close to where i live... within a five minute drive.. this morning i got feedback and they really liked me, but decided to go with another candidate.

So sorry, Else and Lady Lee.
I'm starting back after being sick so I'm afraid to take a job comensurate with my experience. I don't have a clue if I could, in reality, get one. Not with a year and a half out due to illness....

two deaths and no calls...
by detective inwell, my disfellowshipped friend was seeking out an older, non-jw relative who he had wanted to invite to a monumental event in his life.
he wasn't able to reach her at her home so he eventually gave up and sought out his jw parents.
in doing so, he learned that the elderly relative had died a little less than a year earlier (a few months after he had been disfellowshipped).

I'm so sorry, Detective. I am so fortunate none of my family are JWs . Most are jerks, but religion has nothing to do with it.
