  Guys: What is your ideal girl like?

  for me these things are most important:.

  she is: intelligent, insightful, unpredictable, strongwilled, keen, interesting, nice looking, confident, a bit proud, equal, neither submissive nor dominant.

  "Sexist" Dress Code??

  a job centre employee has taken his employer to a tribunal because he claims that the dress code is sexist - women are not required to adhere to a similar standard.

  his union is backing him.. i am inclined to say "oh boo hoo, poor you, your employer has a dress code!

  This may not help but it really happened:

  I work in a small office, part time (as I am an artist) my boss kept nagging me about the fact that I wear a small ear ring in each ear. (he doesn't complain too much because I am good at what I do) One day he just walked in, and said "no more", " I dont want you wearing earings to work"

  I looked at he and his wife (who had her ears peirced) and said "what..... you dont want me to wear these, because I have a Penis?" .... (a short pause) . . . . . I said "how do you KNOW I have a penis?"

  He said "well I assume, since you are married....."

  I cut him off .. "Well if I am married, and that part of my life is acceptable, then stop worrying if I am wearing something that you preffer not to ascociate with a penis"

  In the end.... I think he was just tired of me saying the word "penis" so much. But I still dress how I want to. If he really wanted to fire me, I suppose he could get away with it..... but I would protest.... I would bring my penis to court with me, and swear that it had no knowlege of what was in my ears.

  I'm curious. Are there sites which severely criticize other religions?

  i am asking this because i was always taught that the reason there are so many anti-wts sites is because witnesses have the true religion, and are therefore a special target of satan.

  satan already "has" the persons in all the other religions, so he doesn't need to whip them up into a frenzy over the lamentable things going on in their particular churches.

  satan does, however, use persons (ostensibly, like me) to slander the true god and his organization.

  Can Good Exist Without Evil??

  the laws of physics tell us that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

  good and evil are equal and opposites of the same concept.

  Agrees with most of it.... except the intelligence and conceince part.... as we are only now discovering... there are creatures of intelligence and conceince right here on earth... That perhaps surpass man. The fact that they communicate differently, only says that we haven't mastered their language.

  For example... A dolphin knows that by shaking his head up and down to you... that he is saying "yes". But do you know how to indicate to HIM that you .... feel sad? We are only just now learning to speak their language. To know that they exist as we do. They have families and friends. A structure of communication, and language.

  The fact that man became the dominant force on earth.... (in his mind anyway) only re-tells the story of the dinosaur. We are big enough (in numbers) to walk over pretty much anything. And we do.... presuming that we are the final stage of existence... that man... is the greatest of all creation.... how conceited is that?

  Anyway... the dinosaurs got turned into big pop-cycles. To make way for new life..... what makes you think.... we... are at the top of any food chains... it isnt over yet.

  but hey... maybe my two cents aren't worth a penny.

  eh... eh... eh now... NEVER say INNEFFECTIVE! ... Wrong maybe... something... but NOT inneffective!

  This "work" has had an EFFECT on a very large portion of the world. It has re-produced and "become many" . Like a virus. It has EFFECTED families and children. It has EFFECTED every last one of the people who post messages on this thing... what is member count, here again? Oh.... it EFFECTS allright. . . Effect,,,, Affect same difference.

  Maybe "ludicris" or "judmental" or " decietful" or ... whatever..... but NEVER ... inneffective.

  ah.... I feel better now, thank you for letting me vent.... and no I am not attacking anyone. Just a little friendly reminder that's all.

  I dont think in terms of Good and Evil... more like Loving and Cruel. God is "all things" wich is a very broad statement. God is both happy and angry, loving and cruel. All the emotions that humanity is capable of.... are the same things that make up god.

  I am not suggesting that god doesnt care what happens. But Good and Evil, are terms that indicate that you either "break" or "follow" some rules. Most of the "rules" part came from man. God has provided a cycle of life (and death) that allows life to exist on earth. The agenda of man, and his terms of "good and evil" have little to do with the Dweller of The Heavens. That wich is far beyond man's comprehension. Even Jw's believe you would "go blind" if you truly saw God. Man will continue to try to comprehend the Dweller of the Heavens.... we will put into terms of "good and evil" a being that is of far greater conceince than ourselves.

  ... look around you at how the rest of the animal kingdom has LAWS of their own. Man is no different, we live by those same laws.

  By the way, that brings me to the whole war thing right now.... see.. .animals... just marking their territory and fighting over food and females. The "Man Packs" are locked in battle. Take my advice....

  "just avoid the humans", I will personally, stick with the cats. They remain nuetral, they know that they are above man and his silly games.

  i strongly believe that it is very difficult to be a good parent in the borg!!

  if you think about it, the parents are basically trained to look at their kids as if they are lesser human beings than them..... you know the old head of the house crap!!.

  i know from my personal experience, i was df'd in 1992, but i never made the definite decision to never go back until 1997. .

  Hey, dont get me wrong. I am with you on that. But that has been going on in some form since the begining of man. There will always be those who lead, and those who follow. The slaved and slave master. Without it... there would be anarchy. So this is the price you pay for being able to drive on paved roads and have indoor plumbing.... society itself is a necessary evil.

  I have not held with much that jw's believe. But I do not interfere in the affairs of man... period. What course man chooses, is not my concern. But for me.... I am glad to have had the foundation they gave me.... they taught me to outsmart the system, in a sense. I mean.. I was taught at an early age... that man's affairs are his own... maybe for the wrong reasons... but there is wisdom in some of their teachings.... my only point.

  Are we caged lions.

  today, discovery channel let me travel with sir anthony hopkins to the inner realms of africa, on a quest to find the king and queens of the animal world - lions.

  as i was enchanted with the raw power and grace these big cats possessed, i was also given the sight of a lion held in captivity.

  it growled, and roared, and walked in his cage, daring the outside world to meet him on his own terms, without iron bars keeping him in captivity.

  I have often compared my wife and I to that exact thing. Lions. I have patterned my life after them. It may sound mad... but it is, as you say it is. Man is not so far above the animal kingdom, as he would like to believe. Lions.... we have the same basic instinct to have family structure, to have mates, to reproduce.... and to kill.

  I guess I have an affinity with kats. I dont know.

  My life turned out great, after surviving through it. I ran away at age twelve and survived everything from male prostitution and homelessness, to cancer and nearly death.

  I haven't seen my parents since... I am 33 years old now. I am still running.

  But I met a beautiful woman from England, and Married her. I grew up a whole lot. I became an artist with my own Graphic Design Studio. Kat Newmas Productions. I play the flute and the piano. I am buying a house, and making two car payments. My wife is a professional also.

  Perhaps I would not be what I am now without Jehovah's Witness... in some twisted way. I knew when I was eight years old that I was not a fit to their mold. I was very fortunate that they taught me to read, and gave me an education.(ed-you-kay-shun... sound it out) They gave me a sense of conceince that I am proud of. Perhaps their lack of tolerance thickened my skin enough, to prepare me for the world I was about to face.

  I turned out o.k. after all.... except for that thing with the voices..... (kat walks off into the darkness mumbling to himself.....)
