Try to analyze why you feel guilty.
When you conclude (like you wrote) that you feel guilty because your children are sitting in the KH without you, consider this. Your children go to school without you and you probably will not feel guilty about that. Because you don't belong there at their school. The KH isn't your place neither. But you can support them, like you would do with school. You can think about bringing them, maybe regularly, maybe once in a while. You can even try to visit a meeting when they have parts. Not because you want to visit meetings, but because they are your fantastic family. You can prove them that their 'worldy' father still is a loving man, even if he has another opinion now.
There also is some nostalgia. Recognizable. How foolish we were back in those days, huh?
PSV - Milan : 1 - 1. Still a chance to go to the next round!

OUTLAW still got you up at night 1009 ?
Nope.
But his statement that I am full of shit, was simply offensive and beneath the belt.
People laugh about it. No comments from moderators.
It says much about the level of this board.

Chemical warfare in Syria-can man be saved?
by Monsieur inthe images on the news after the town in damascus was attached with a chemical weapon was incredibly disturbing.
babies dying, people suffocating, it was man at his worst.. can man be saved?
it seems the entire world is implicated in this conflict.

Although it is terrible what currently happens in Syria, the news about chemical warfare seems to be a hoax.
- Minutes after the attack people run around in the same street. Some are unharmed?
- Video's are apparently posted a day before the alleged attack.
- An attack near Damascus shortly after the arrival of UN-inspectors seems to be pretty stupid.
- The Syrian army was allready making progress in this region with conventional weapons. Why use chemical weapons instead?

Outlaw is a cynical figure that enjoys to belittle others.
Sometimes it's funny indeed.
But he also has offended me deeply.

Shunning for inactive ones?
by frogonmytoe ini visited my sister in a small town in the midst of the country, the town has a population of 3,000 and there's about 70 in the cong.
anyway, there was a local needs talk a few months ago about associating with family members who didn't live under your roof and no longer went to meetings.
one family of an elder dad and three sons (one an elder too, the others have stopped going) and a daughter (still going but married a 'worldly') are quite prominent and one half of a typical congregational feud.

An elder could be removed if the congregation helds him responsable for not educating his family well; 'if indeed any man does not know how to preside over his own household, how will he take care of God’s congregation?' (1 Tim. 3:5). But that does not account for removing his wife from pioneering. So I have the same idea as Blondie:
As to the one living with his girlfriend but not baptized....again considered bad association. Removing an elder over it....only if the son were living at home with his girlfriend.
Does one of the sons still at his parents home while living an 'inmoral' life?
