I have a relative that had a very bad car accident. during the trauma, he clinicly died. During this time, he described floating above his body seeing the hospital workers try to revive him. Then he tells of a tunnel that transported him before a two large doors. As he stood in front of the doors, they opened. A light he said that is completely indescribeble to any one on earth shined out. He said it was the most beautiful thing you could possible see. this light passed through his body. A voice told him it was not yet his turn, that he needed to return. he said he traveled back through the tunnel and was once again above the hospital workers reviving his body. Then he felt the physical pain from his injuries and opened his eyes. It took him over a year to walk again. How do you describe this if the soul is dead at death? How do you describe spirits of loved ones returning to places they once lived? One of the first things you learn in Chemistry is that you can not create or destroy energy. Why is it that a human body loses a fraction of wieght at the moment brain waves stop?

Dying you will not die?
by Kagloo ini have a question that has puzzled me since i got my large print bible...... in genesis 2:17 it states.... but as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.".
the footnote reads.... lit.. " dying you will die.
" okay i understand that... .

So....Today I asked a few questions to my girlfriend. One thing led to another and My plan of not overwelming her with too many questions kind of went down the toobs. The thing that really really amazes me is that she had absolutley no knowlege of the false prophacies. most recently in 1975. of course she wasn't born yet. But she didn't even believe me. She claimed "why would the watch tower say something like that". She also had no knowlege that the watch tower is the only chanel for God to communicate, or that only the watch tower can understand the Bible. So.... I need to find some proof of this. Can any one tell me where I might begin my search. I don't want to be misinformed with here say. That would make my "Proof" look pretty weak, thus enforcing the fact that we are just throwing stones. Hopefully it would be something actually printed by the watch tower. Other wise I might have a hard time convincing her. Probally will anyway. But I hope some one has some advise on where to start. Thanx

i've spoken to some witnesses here, who are really worried about 2005. they say it was pretty obvious at the last convention, that the world may end in 2005. because of 1975 and the fact that jesus was 30 years old, the last time he preached on earth... .

two questions about Jesus

I agree he probally looked like some one who actually was born in the middle east. That seems to escape most people. Probally down right freaks some folks out( Close minded predjudice types). The hair thing seems out of place though. didn't most men have long hair back then? I could be totally wrong. But hoping someone knew more about it. the reason I ask is, I was told I should cut my hair. when I mentioned Jesus having long hair I was told he actually had short hair. So thats why I ask.
