  How fortunate you are to have beautiful kids. I am currently taking medication to get my womb ready for my and my partner's frozen embryo. I personally couldn't care less at what point 'it' becomes a 'life' with a 'soul' - I'd just like the chance to experience what you do as a parent.

  A zygote, an oocyte, a blastocyst, an embryo - no matter at which stage the group of cells transforms into a self - should the embryo not come through the thawing, I shall not consider myself to have aided an abortion. However, I would never judge another female negatively for deliberately deciding to abort. There are many, many shades to such a personal topic as abortion.

  People, I'm still living in fear.

  but i'm living in terror.

  I'm so sorry you are going through all this anxiety and pain. Hopefully one day not one JW you may see on the street or come across on FB will bear any influence upon your life decisions or how you feel. It took me a long time not to care. Nowadays I can go up and say hello to someone I come across whom I recall from my old cong, (I was never baptised, but a born-in), & enjoy watching them squirm as I greet them with a big cheesy smile.

  However you choose to make this happen, make sure it is the right way for you. But do it, because allowing others to create such anxiety is awful, I know. I wish you all the best and much courage.

  i, this past week, had a delicious blueberry pie along with french vanilla ice cream!

  yum!!!!.

  i love whoopie pies too.. i hardly ate anything yesterday and now i'm thinking about goodies..

  i'm visiting my brother and his family in virginia for thanksgiving.

  as i was looking out the kitchen window today, saturday, waiting for my sister-in-law to finish talking with my niece on the phone, i noticed an older couple in thick coats going to different houses in the cul-de-sac.

  as i was watching the older couple and thinking about what i would do if they rang the door where i was and if they were jws, the door rang.. at the door were two older african-american women.

  The elders came by and my DA letter

  the lead elder co of my hall said he was going to push for a jc meeting.

  i could tell all along all hes interested in is protecting his god the org.. so i'm 90% sure now of going on the offesive and first having a family meeting telling them i'm offically quitting and how its going to play out and how i'll will be shunned even though i have commited no sin.

  i also may explain a little of why and how i came to this decision with out bashing the org to much out of respect for my wife.

  Great, sincere letter. They do not deserve the dignity of receiving such a letter, but if you are going to send it, here are a couple suggestions:

  'In retrospect' - instead of this, personalize that this is your retrospection on the WTS teachings, and perhaps put 'To my retrospect', or 'Upon reflection, I have come to the realization that ...'

  'Well gentlemen' - instead of this, perhaps put 'After much prayerful study I have come to the conclusion that ...'

  I wish you all the best and I hope so much at least one member of your family sees beyond the WTS abuse/control and remains in contact with you.

  i was angry with my kid for questioning me.

  i work, i pay the bills, i provide food, clothing and shelter for them.

  instead of respect, i get attitude.

  You probably already have, but perhaps apologize, once you're calm, and talk with your child about why you became so upset. You clearly feel rotten about your outburst, or else you wouldn't have posted. I remember how surly and ungrateful I was as a teenager and cringe at the parental karma coming my way.
