  im not sure if i was married to a psycho or not and am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with their ex.

  weve been divorced for 2-1/2 years and have had our ups and downs.

  because shes a diehard jw and doesnt have grounds to get re-married i get an ear full from her blah...blah.. anyway, one minute shes like "its terrible that i have to wait for you to get married before i can" and then this past weekend she calls me to talk.

  WHERE DID ALL THAT WATER GO?

  as i recall, "the society" at one time taught the flood waters of noah's day came from an immense canopy of water, which formed sometime during creation and hovered above the earth until it all broke loose in the flood.

  o.k., cool.

  but does anyone know of an explanation of where it all went afterwards?

  Having been a Geology Major in college this very topic was what started my rethinking of what the Org. taught. Having seen the physical evidence, preserved in layers of rock, that directly contradicted what I was taught to believe growing up.

  AlanF there is another simple point that shoots large holes in the flood (Noahician as it were) presented by the "Society Writers".

  The evidence of several different layers in a stratagraphic column containing trace fossils produced by raindrops hitting soft exposed sediment. If there were no rain before the flood, trace fossils of this type found at different levels in the strata would indicate repeated exposure to the rain after the flood started. This would indicate several cycles of deposition, exposure to rain and then preservation by more sediment deposit. It would take a very complicated model to deposit sediments, raise the sediments above the water level, and then lower the same sediments below the water level for more deposition in such a cyclic fashion.

  I remember when I was 2 years old. We had just returned home from a trip, it was night and I was being carried into the house by my father. I remember looking back over his shoulder and seeing train cars on the tracks near our house and pointing at them, saying train, trying to get my father to look at them, he just kept walking and said, "yep".

  I remember several meals while in the high-chair, attempts at potty-training, and the crib I slept in.

  Hey, not bad for an old man of 39 :-)

  watch how us forces aboard ac130 gunship night raid in afghanistan targeted fleeing unarmed "personnel".

  watch the rain of fire as little bright running objects were targeted and killed one by one.

  watch how they were finished off, if after being hit, they were still "moving".

  In an attempt to answer you question on what was used here is an educated guess. The smaller explosions were probably the 40mm cannons while the larger impacts were the 105mm howitzer being used. In the video stream provided you hear the gun crew chatter telling the pilot when the guns are clear to fire. The howitzer has an autoloader that needs to be replenished ever few shots by the gun crew. The crew lets the pilot know when they are out of the way of the recoil. Not sure what kind of ammo they were using.

  In addition to the LLT (Low Light Television), Infra-Red imaging (FLIR) it has been speculated they have a side looking combination low aperture / dopler radar to help track moving targets on the ground.

  its been over two years now since the g.b.

  revised the legal organizational structure to further stress "the ministry of the word".. james n. pellechia, public affairs director for the religion,denied that the potential legal problems has anything to do with the reorganization.. he said the g.b.

  is simply being relieved of administrative tasks so it can concentrate more on "the ministry of the word".. the g.b.

  New information from an inside source says that they are ahead of schedule. They have decided on the shape of the table, that will be made of dark walnut, to be used for future discussions. This fast pace indeed shows true loving guidance. The next item on the agenda is seating order, followed by whether place-tags should be inlayed with silver or gold. Surely they will finish this in a comparable amount of time.
