Had a chat with neighbour about creepy JW neighbours........
by WingCommander inwell, i wondered how long it would take until my gossip-hen of a retired neighbour would say something to me about our jw neighbours.
here is the rundown, i live in a nice middle-class neighbourhood.
homes aren't small, but they aren't huge either.

Have you Overcome Guilt & Fear Since Exiting Jehovah's Witnesses ?
by flipper inminimus had a great thread recently asking if any who were witnesses felt guilt as a jehovah's witness.
thought i would build on that a little dealing with how you have moved on after being a jehovah's witness ?.
one definition of guilt in the american heritage dictionary is : " self-reproach for supposed inadequacy or wrongdoing ".

With Burning Anger - Nazi Era Catholic History
by lepermessiah ini recently read a fascinating series on the history of the third reich.. one incident discussed in the book was the large group of catholics who stood against the nazi regime.. the reason i found it so interesting is that the wt continues to make it sound like the catholic church and all of its members were practically card-carrying nazi's, and that jw's were the only religious group who stood against the regime.
i was interested to read statistics of the many catholics, protestants, and others who were tortured and sent to concentration camps for their faith and opposition.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/mit_brennender_sorge.

Do You Really Trust The Police?
by minimus inin the local paper there are 2 different towns that are dealing with possible police misconduct.
one situation involves thousands of dollars worth of pot stolen from the police locker where the drugs were supposed to be safe.
now the feds and state are involved in finding out who was responsible for the theft.

Nope not once.
Knew about other kids drinking, a middle aged sister buying and smoking pot, Other couples that were doing the naughty deed, and some elders that were storing and using chemicals that they were not suppose to use in their janitorial businesses.
I knew I wasn't perfect and didn't want to be a hypocrite by judging others.
