Why do people follow me on Twitter... even though I never tweet anything?
by Elsewhere inabout six months ago i setup a twitter account.
i posted a few tweets here and there and then got bored of it and stopped.. dispite the fact that i never tweet anything, every few days i get an email notice stating that another person has started following me.. why?
can anyone think of any reason why people would want to follow someone wo never tweets?.

Let the children decide.
by angel eyes inok, im putting my neck on the line here but ive always believed that children should be raised to make their own choice, if to serve jah or not.. i wasnt ever forced to believe in anything, any religion etc, although my background is very complicated.. anyway, hubby and i have always thought that how can a child decide if they dont know what other things are, ie birthday partys, halloween etc.
so, our children are allowed to choose if to go places etc.
last year our little boy said he didnt want to go to a halloween party, this year he said he might.

AE you and your hubby are a rare couple (in a good way).
The influence of repeated exposure to behavioral and emotional conditioning is carried for a life-time by all that are exposed to it, especially the children. Being allowed to make a choice is one of the greatest gifts you can offer them, however if they are repeatedly exposed to what others teach "a healthy christian conscience" would be the right choice are they really given a fair chance at a free choice?

It is okay with me it we disagree, I kind of expect it at this point in time. However the point I was trying to make is that everyone is accountable for their actions. Nobody should get a pass because there is someone that is morally worse and out to cause harm.
I thank you for your well wishes and hope that you will exercise your mind to its fullest.
(end of hijack)
Sorry to hear about your brother and sister (((trueblue))).

AE you are being intellectually dishonest. If they weren't given an answer to the lie they were told because they did not know all the information then it was doomed to fail. If they didn't know that it was a lie then they were not perfect. If they were perfect then they should have known right from wrong before they ate the fruit. So two items show that they were not perfect, not having the knowledge of good and bad and not knowing that they were being told a falsehood.
If that part of the story is in doubt then wouldn't it require an even larger suspension of disbelief to accept that a snake talked AND told the first lie?
The creator is responsible for what he builds and for what he commands others to do.

I agree with AE on the part that there are good loving people in the congregations, but the organization has become rotten from within above the congregation level and victimizes those good people.

But AE they didn't know good from bad until after they ate the fruit. They were set up for failure if they weren't given all the information.

AE - a question if I might.
If a person builds and sells a house and that house should collapse that night and kill the new owners, who is at fault?
The neighbor? If he coveted the house and hated whoever owned the house, not likely.
The owner? If they didn't maintain it properly, maybe but not overnight.
The builder? If he didn't build it properly, definitely.
Does it make any sense to blame the neighbor just because they are a lying, envious, self centered, reprehensible tool?

what else could they get away with?
by highdose inhaving explained/pointed out the doctrinal flip flops to some jw's i know i was astonished to find that they just brushed it all aside, on one occasion they seemed to just tune me out and quit listening.
the gb really do have them whipped, it makes me wonder what it would take for them to sit up and realise what a insane religon they are in?!
and in the meantime how much can the gb get away with because of the blind faith of their followers?
