You are right Francois. Christianity unity does not requiere uniformity in their beliefs and practices. Our Baptist church sometimes has get togethers with other churches from other religions such as Pentecostal, Presbyteran, Lutherans, and others. Be it for praying, singing, bible, or just having a good time together, we all are pretty united. We have some different beliefs and doctrines, but we all work for the same "Boss" don't we?

Daughter counselled on dating a wordly guy
by minimus inmy daughter recieved this email from one of her witness "friends".
she is counseling my daughter (indirectly) about her choice to date a "worldly" guy.. hey, so, we had a talk recently that was about love & respect in your marriage.
the brother brought out that this was more for us witnesses rather than worldly people, because it seems that even in the truth now marriage has lost it's correct place.

I have a friend in a similar situation. He is not really dating the JW girl, but they like each other a lot. Once he asked her why they couldn't go out, and she said because it was a sin. And he asked her why was that a sin, and she said there was no point in going out just for fun, since they couldn't marry. Ok, so why cant they marry? She said that because in the bible it says "You shall marry only in God" or something like that, which I know is in the bible, but isnt any other Christian also "in God"? I know that in a JWs point of view, they are not "in God", being from another religion, but how to make them understand this concept? She does not reject my friend, on the contrary, she shows him how much she likes him, but she lives in the constant fear she will be seen with him or of what she needs to do to be with him. She tried converting him, but he refused. She is really strong in her beliefs, although she does not know much. What do you all think of this situation?

If You Never Were A JW, Would You Believe In God?
by minimus inso many here do not believe in god, now.
some are not sure he exists.
if you never had been a jehovah's witness, do you think that you might still believe in a creator, in god?

I believe in God and I am not a Witness, nor will I need to be one. God exists, everything is too perfect to have started on its own, just think about it, look around you, outside, your house, at your computer monitor, its all too perfect. My thoughts.

Can you post the photocopies of the Encyclopedia and book, or can you send them by e-mail if you have them? A friend recently lent me this magazine to read and I still have it, I can show him something like this.

Why isn't the Watchtower the true religion?
by StinkyPantz ini have been asked by a jw friend of mine to share with him the reasons why i believe that the watchtower is not the true religion.
what all do you think that i should share with him?.
-i'm going to share the information about their hypocrisy in being a un ngo.

I think there is no one true religion, but there are sure many that are wrong in what they teach and do. I believe that understanding everything from the bible, and following like God wants us to is the "true religion". Believing in Christ is the only thing that can save us. It's not that being a Christian is the "true religion", but they are the ones that follow the bible the closest and with a full understanding of it, not straying from the scriptures or twisting them to their own way. A religion won't save you, but it can surely sink you. It's your faith, what you know, and what you do. My thoughts.

JW Friends
by ClassAvenger in.
i've always wondered what jehovah witnesses think about a friend who is a non-jw.
do they pretend to be good to you from the outside while thinking in their heads that you are "worldly" and that nothing good will come out of the non-jw?

Oh, I see. So they also consider any other religion worldly, even though they see that you know more and understand the bible better than they can?
