hey guys, i haven't been around in a while and it's nice to be back.

i have some questions that have been bothering me, and i need some help.

i am a christian and i have been witnessing to a jw, yet there is one strong hard question which i have trouble answering.

Kingdom Interlinear

how can i get my hands on a kingdom interlinear?

a jw friend said that they weren't in print any more, so he made a special order to get the book, but he said that he couldn't give it to me, just lend it.

is there any way i can make a special order for that book?

What was the purpose of Creation?

i was talking to some jehovah witness in a bible study, and we got into a conversation of heaven.

i told him that we would all be in heaven and live there, and he told me, "what would be the point of god creating the whole earth and putting us here then destroying it?

wouldn't it just be easier to repair the earth and place us here again?

ok, i am totally frustrated with these jehovah witnesses.

they drove me out of the limit today when they said that satan was not cast out of heaven and sent to earth until 1914. im like, "what the hell???

" what is their freaking problem.

i preached to a jw and they used the following verse against me:

phi 2:6

"who existing in the nature of god, did not consider being equal to god something to be held onto," he said that this was one of the texts that disproved the trinity because it does not state that he was god, but that he existed in the nature of god: divine.

God Turned His Face Away

i've been reading the angels: god's secret agents by billy graham and i found something interesting about when jesus died on the cross.

he says that when jesus died, he was abandoned by men, angels, and by the father who's eyes are too pure to look at sin, and in the expiatory agony of the son he turned his face away.

that's why jesus said: my god, my god, why hast thou forsaken me?

im going to a jw assembly tomorrow.

i just agreed to go with my jw friend for the heck of it, but what may i expect from going?

anything interesting you guys want to point out that usually happens in one of these reunions?

Higher Powers, Romans 13:1-7

i was very bored and after reading some stuff from david reed on the flip-flopping of the higher powers in romans 13, i decided to check it out myself in the publications (not that i doubted it, but just wanted to get the full quotes).

i put what i found into a word file for my personal information, but i guess i'll post it here since i have nothing better to do with it.

i guess this has already been covered extensively, but i'll put it here for those that yet haven't seen it.

is it true that they have a section for jehovah witnesses in the holocaust museum in washington?

a jw friend told me about it, and i was like "really?".

if it's true, why is there a section for them?
