  827 Green Goddesses? Why?

  if the uk firemen go on strike, the army is standing by with it's 827 green goddesses.

  so why can't the army simply use the modern fire engines that we have already?

  it seems nuts to me that they are pulling all these old bangers out of mothballs (most were built in 1956!

  the army would have to cross picket lines to get the fire engines, i think thats another reason why they dont use them.

  What did you REALLY think about the banned things

  what prompted this topic was when an ex-jw ( ex-elder ) friend of mine told me that once when he was doing a "car" witness with three others, near to christmas time, they lost one of them!

  after a bit of searching along the route, the others eventually found him in a house, eating a mince pie and drinking a glass of brandy!.

  my friend reminded him that he shouldn't be participating in these " worldly things.

  i had an england flag sticker on my car for the '98 world cup. i wore tops with the soviet flag and CCCP on. i had a skinhead. hardly ever wore a suit jacket. went to nightclubs. only ever answered once at the watchtower study. sometimes wore jeans. ate meals and talked about the WTS and bible with my DF'd sister. read so called apostate sites like this. missed the BS when i could. hardly ever turned up to any field service groups, but i always got my hours in. dated non JWs, cos most JW girls i met were ugly. in fact most JWs i saw were hit with the ugly stick.

  what is all the fuss about?

  when i was still assimilated (i.e.

  still in the borg, but wanting out every second of that time), there was so much emphasis put on microphone handling that it was almost unreal.

  well its just part of the control system they employ, to give you jobs and make everyone think that its a privilege to have that job so when you dont tow the party line then they remove those jobs from you to put you in place and make everyone see that you've been a naughty boy.

  i saw this for what it was when i first learned about these so called privileges. so i never asked to have any jobs and neither was i asked thankfully. mind you i would never wear a suit jacket so that may be the reason why i was never asked, which is such a no-no and gives the impression of being independent-minded.

  i always liked to stand out and be different anyway.

  Were You Obsessed With Demons?

  from my youngest days, i remember being told that we should be careful because of the demons.

  they are everywhere, just waiting to pounce on us.

  we were told to stay away from windchimes since they "attract" the demons.

  i personally have never had any problems with demons. i only came into the truf 5 years ago and have since a few weeks ago quit. i know that my sister who hasn't been a JW has had problems over the years.

  although i say i never had any problems, ther was one time when i started talking to my best mate about the bible and God etc, without the WTS jargon, hype and dogma, and that very night in bad i was awaken by a what seemed to be an electrical buzzing sound in the room which eventualy faded and then a couple of seconds later my car alarm went off, it was quite strange. whether that was demons i dont know.

  i think some people can imagine they are being affected by demons in their dreams at night but i think this is just in their mind. but i think some are really affected, however from my knowledge of things happening to other people i think that demons pick on certain individuals for some reason i'm not quite sure.

  i know a family who aren't baptised who are being hassled by a poltergeist, but it seems that its only affecting those who attend the KH rather than the 2 that dont. in fact the 2 dont even know that its happening most of the time, only when they're told whats happend.

  well some people will believe and some wont, its up to each individual. but i certainly dont agree with people using these experiences to instill fear into people and meake people believe that the WTS is full of truth.

  Watchtower study vs. Bible study

  very urgent please help.

  i am looking for scriptures that refer to the correct way of worship (and i am sure it will not include reference to watchtower material).. i am currently studying the watchtower with some jw's in our area, but have serious reservations about their lack of communal worship that does not include complete readings from the bible.

  reading a chapter and then using the watchtower to back it up instead of using the bible to backup the teachings of the watchtower).. the watchtower is not divinely inspired so how on earth am i going to get anything of value out of it.

  this is exactly what the WTS is all about. they decide the doctrines and then they try and find scriptures to back them up. then once they dupe you into believing that they're right then, they pressurise you into getting baptised, and then heaven help you if you change your mind afterwards.

  the watchtower magazines have a section entitled "life stories" where the testimonies of persons who have spent their entire lives in the service of the organization or bethel are narrated.

  in the september 1st 2002 watchtower magazine on page 25 i found the story of gladys allen who recounts almost 60 years of her life spent as first a regular then special pioneer.

  typical of miss allen but evident in many other of these testimonies, i find that mention is made of wts publications, governing body members, theocratic schools attended etc.

  its just representative of the WTS attitude to Jesus. an other example would be that out of over 200 songs in the song book, only 7 are about Jesus.

  seriously though, the conception of the UN was in 1941 so it wouldnt have bee any great news in 1942. anyone with a connection to the Illuminati would have knowledge of the fact the the allies would win WW2, and not only that there was also the claim that they had been inspired to say that the Jews would be restored to their land. This was an agenda of the Rothschilds, which C.T. Russell was a good friend of. so it seems the Holy Spirit was working through the Rothschilds as well.
