the film: United 93
by MegaDude ingood film.
what i really respect about it is it is no hollywood version of what happened on that day.
there is sparse use of music to try to pump up your emotions.

God led me to the JW congregation.
by jw ini rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.
a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.
late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

Anyone do Charity work?????
by whyamihere inthere is a few things that i am involved in, and have been for quite sometime.
i feel that it is important to raise my children in this type of environment, so that they see outside of the box, and not be so closed minded on our surroundings.
many are in need, and it is easy to close our eyes and forget.. my main charity work will always benefit children.. this weekend i have gathered many things from my house such as kids clothes, shoes, jackets...and i bought many blankets, cook ware, along with money etc... this will all go to easter seals.

i couple of years ago not long after leaving the jws, i thought about giving some of my time to charity to help out with whatever, but then i realised i was only doing it to make myself feel good. so i didnt bother. i guess my charity work is what i do for people in my own way whenever someone needs help.

gideons are like a non-violet version of al-qaeda. instead of leaving korans everywhere they go they leave bibles instead.

Do you not care anymore?
by Pleasuredome inhas anyone here got to the stage where they just dont care about the wts anymore?
whether they exist or disband, whether its about doctrine and dogma, attitudes, flip-flops, what they think of you, scandles etc.
would this be the end goal of recovering from the jws?
