  I'm in London Tomorrow

  i'm heading down in to the big city tomorrow for a job interview......and will have a couple of hours to kill before subjecting myself to the interview itself (dreading it)...........i'm gonna be in the area of "angel" tube station on the northern line.........if anyone's near do they fancy a brew (tea), reckon it'll be around midday.. .

  mill hill east is the tube station just down the road from the UK HQ. mill hill east is on the northern line. however the northern line splits into two, at a camden town. a great place to park is at brent cross shopping centre (free parking all day). you can walk from the shopping centre, past brent cross tube station to the top of the road and then catch the bus to The Causeway. the best place to meet would be at mill hill east tube station, which is just down the road from The Causeway.

  cough cough...geesh who enjoys bonfire night?

  acctually i do, fireworks have been lighting up the sky since saturday, apart from the dang bangers i enjoy the rest like any kid does.

  so happy bonfire night, iv'e been wondering who to throw on the bonfire this year...any suggestions?

  if its true that the WTS society started using BCE/CE around the time of Knorr, then Russell would have used BC/AD. wouldnt this make a difference to the 607/1914 date? just say that 2BC was jesus' YOB, wouldnt it mean that 607 should be 609, or 1914 be 1916? just a thought.

  Congregation get-togethers

  did your hall ever organize times for the congregation to do activities?.

  about every 6-9 months, mine would have a congregation picnic.

  people would bring food, and we would play a softball game.

  some of the young single JWs in england have what the WTS would see as an undergorund network. when i first started going to meetings this was exposed because they started to meet up in a night club owned by an exjw. this came out in most of the congs around my area, as the main organiser/s were from leicester. just an example of the youngsters trying to have a good time, only to be foiled by the the control system.
