i feel much better for not going to meetings. i feel i'm much more reliant on God now, and that i'm living my life as a christian because i really want to and not because i feel pressured to do so. im enjoying freedom in Christ for a change.

Do You Feel Better Since You Stopped Meetings?
by minimus inso many witnesses have been ill. i'm not talking about the flu or a cold, either.
many witnesses suffered from ailments that were not necessarily common to most people.
i know of jw's that had to literally run out of the meetings every week because they said they were allergic to perfumes and different scents.

Elder Rumor How Widesprd: IraqWar=WWIII=Armageddon
by romansfourteen1to6 inan inactive friend just spoke to some elders who, not from the platform but one-on-one, said they believe the coming war with iraq will cause world war iii and armageddon.
has anyone else heard this?
it may be that some are using this as a tactic to scare inactives back into the watchtower society along with their needed donations, especially since the pedophile and wts-u.n. scandals.

Watch your language boy/girl

people knew we were jw's just by the way we dressed, but also by the way we talked.
