i am vivamus' mum, and i have heard so much about you, that i'd like to meet you all myself.

i joined the witnesses in 1998, but i have always doubted the organization, but not the faith.

i am still jehovah's witness, but i am sure that the elders will kick me out as soon as possible, should they know what my real thoughts about the organization are.

How can you be free from something you hate

do we all hate the WTS? i'm not aware that i hate them. yes, i feel sorry for them, but i dont hate them. if it were the case that i hated them, then sure i haven't moved on or learned anything.

some good info comes out in this board, thats the main reason i'm here. also, to understand where you've come from, means you can get a fix on where you're heading. wallowing in ignorance wont help.

Giving Thanks to Watchtower

i came to this forum in the later part of 2000 shortly after meeting my wife.

although i still come here often to read, i rarely post anymore.

recently two very fine people, an elder and his wife, left the wt.

I'd like to thank the Watchtower. They've helped me examine my own beliefs and cemented my ideas about the bible,

although i wouldnt goes as far as to thank the watchtower, i do feel the same way as you. i dont think i would change my experience in the borg, as its done for me as what its done for you. its been a great learning curve, and so has this board, and my thanks goes to all who've put in a lot of effort into researching the WTS. policies only affect those who start to scratch the surface. unfortunately many dont bother to do that, thinking that nothing could be wrong, after all this if Jehovahs org.

The one silver lining of these stories is the knowledge that good and decent people are leaving the WT in droves.

i dont see it from where i'm at, but i hope they are all over the world.

i find something very distressing not to mention terribly sad about some of you people (and to those who are not one of these people i kindly ask to please don't fly into some "i'm so insulted!

" snit as if i'm wrongfully referring to you).

to those people i'm referring to i say: you rightfully hope for the british and u.s. military to destroy that saddam monster and its minions of mass-murdering/worshippers throughout iraq.

not everyone here believes in god anyway, and those that do probably are waiting for god to do his bit.

and please use paragraphs. my eye sight is good (which is amazing when you think about it), and i dont want to ruin it by straining to read your words.
