Is politeness out of style?
by JH inmany years ago people seemed more polite to woman, by tipping their hats or holding a door open to let them in.
even in busses, men gave their places if a woman was standing.
does a person look stupid if he is too polite today compared to years ago?.

when that happens I usually say "Yes, thanks a lot, no problem" aloud so they get the message. they mighte turn around and say thanks, or they'll ignore you and feel very uncomfortable.

A Canadian woman was threatened with 24 hour detainment for “taking part in terrorist actions against a U.S. citizen in international airspace while on an American flight during a time of war”. Her crime? Explosives in her handbag? Nope - refusing to stop breast-feeding her 4-month-old baby, on a flight from Houston to Vancouver. The threat came after an American man on the plane felt assaulted by her “subversive” behaviour, and demanded that the woman be charged with assault and an act of war against an American (what a tit!). Luckily for the woman there were no laws against breastfeeding in Canada and she managed to walk free once the plane landed in Vancouver.

by Simon innow, the war is over, the weapons were not used and of course have not been found.. how threatening could they be if they did not even use them when being invaded by a massive force (of the countries they hate)?!
perhaps, as many suspect, they didn't use them because they didn't have them?.
now we're being told that we'll have to be patient and give them time to find them.

aernt they loving and wonderfull - what is this a way for them to try and gain favour at the fact that people can have it cleaned but will rather let loved ones die from not having it in them !

"One woman who demonstrates the proper use of the “Cell Saver” machine was very perplexed by the demands of JW patients and HLC members. The device requires a certain amount of blood volume in the machine before the patients' blood can be re-infused. There are places where the tube needs to be clamped off in order to prevent premature re-infusion. She stated that JW patients give her much grief over these clamps, claiming that they equate to "storage" of the blood, and interruption of the blood flow. For JW patients, she must resort to removing the “God-disapproved clamps”, and lowering the bag so that gravity keeps the blood in the machine until the appropriate time. She expressed deep concern that this modified technique introduces the risk of air entering the system." AJWRB

If Your JW Relative Needed Blood, Would You Force It On Them?
by minimus indue to the fact that most of us do not feel that it is scripturally wrong to take blood, if your relative was told that they needed a transfusion and you could see that they get it, even if it's against their wishes, would you force blood into them??
