my husband works for an engineering company.
he is a highly skilled engineer and runs the maintenance department.
in britain at the moment it is very difficult to find highly skilled engineers and so firms have been recruiting abroad, only to find that these 'high' skills are just as rare abroad and also nearly as expensive.. so, my husbands firm have basically decided, to cut costs, they have written out a new contract for all their workers.
i would imagine big companies like rolls royce would go over employment law with a fine tooth comb to see what they can get away with. and such a powerful company might get away with a lot too.
it will get to the stage where wages get driven down low enough so there wont be enough people to be able to afford to buy products and services that these clever companies provide.
ok, i've heard it all: sincerity, honesty, security, money, love, romance, flowers, poems, promises, and more.
but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).
so, what do women really want?
most women want the opposite of what they say they want. because anything other than that they dont feel comfortable with. and so the saying goes treat them mean keep them keen. trouble comes when you meet one of the few who do want what they say they want.
but you know when you meet a woman who is right for you, because those things just dont matter.
seeing as i have the wt in front of me today, i thought you'd enjoy the questions from readers from the february 15, 2007 article on the evils and pagan origins on toasting or clinking of glasses.
the article specifically mentions how not everything today that was of pagan origin is necessarily bad, and sites "wedding rings" as being of pagan origin, but it's not viewed like that now.
then, incredibly, they go on and say that while toasting might not be considered a religious practice today, there's "good reason" for christians to avoid it------without giving any valid reason why other than: do as we say:.

His answers were that He is not only in my mind,
my question was "does it matter if jesus could only be in your mind". nobody can perceive things out of their mind, only in it. so logic says that it shouldn't matter because no matter what, you are only going to be able to perceive him in your mind.

it does not matter to Him if I die.
so if it matters to you or anyone else, does it then matter or not? when lazarus died it certainly mattered then.
how do you explain people who perceive and talk to other gods in their minds, and gain beneficially from it? most religions around the world have the same morals and laws for being accepted by god. if those people said that you need to come to their god for salvation, in what way are they any different from you?

If there are other gods, surely they'll answer. If it's all untrue, Jesus won't either.
been there, done that. jesus didnt turn up. i cant say i wasnt surprised.
there is no issue for legalities of so-called wrong doing. you cant be judged by somthing that dosent exist. besides which, so-called sin laws are of our own making and understanding, written down by men to create fear and guilt, of which 'god', because supposedly he is love, naturally can't be a part of.
my challenge to you is to ask jesus if it matters that he could only be in your mind. ask him if it matters if you call him buddha, allah, or tamuz. ask him if it matters that you will die.
the only peace you will get is when you condense 775,000 words into one.

i've experienced things that i could put down to miracles, i could attribute them to myself just as much as i could to jesus, quetzalcoatl, allah etc.
how many out there claim that a god other than jesus did something for them? how many out there dont believe in jesus? its not a numbers game. maybe the cunfusion lies in how people perceive their experience.
i'm not saying you arent sound. maybe you're more sound than the majority of people in that maybe you have a deeper connection to the mind than most. maybe that is what genius is, who knows. what i'm saying is that your perception of your experience with voices is based on your knowledge and world view, and i would suggest that your beliefs go as far to influence how that voice speaks to you.
i'm not saying that this is something that is wrong or detrimental to you and you should seek help. what happens in your mind may well be good for you, but not for everyone else.

So I guess you have it this way, either there are a whole bunch of liars out there who preach against lying, or there may actually be a person who we all claim to know personally.
there are plenty of people out there with different chemical balances in the brain. some may have the same levels as you, and so naturally if they have a christian background will believe the jesus talks to them. in countries where christianity isnt the main religion it will be some other godly figure or even ancestor. its not a question of lying its a question of how you perceive the experience.
