What a blast!

this morning was the morning after the night before at the get-together at the apostates' restaurant.. such an animated crowd with instant friendship.. yep, many came with at least one thing in common, a realisation about the trith about "the troof".. and how appropriate we should be just down the road from bethel.

let's hope they heard - the inmates would have been sooooo jealous!.

there was dark knight with friends, jwfacts and his friends - didn't they have a tale to tell!

Dear Tres..............i am sorry for you and all those left behind because your suffering is starting while lee's has ended. i know the pain of suicide of a loved one. my ex hubby killed himself and i had to deal with keeping strong to help my kids remain positive yet empathetic, guilt free while not being judgmental. 2 yrs ago a cousin of mine killed herself too. to deal with both suicides i had to reach a place in my head and heart to, despite not agreeing with the way they dealt with their pain and suffering, accept and respect that it was THEIR choice and for them it was all they thought they could do at that time. peace and love to you. x x x x bliss

Can the same be done with information on sexual abuse? While everyone is so keen to deliver emails about blood, how about the UN too! The UN scandal would really surprise a lot of dubs because it's been kept so quiet.

What's your favourite food?

i've got lots but the one i'ed like right now is... .

curried goat or fish west indian style with basmati rice or lentil filled roti bread.

has anybody ever had lentil filled roti?

What were you disfellowshipped for?

i recently had a discussion with a witness friend (i'm a secret) and she claimed that witnesses only get disfellowshipped for being unrepentant for immoral acts.

i am curious to know from those who have been disfellowshipped, what was it for?

They tell everyone who's coming into the borg that you don't get dféd for sinning but your attitude to the sin. an unrepantant attitude is what gets you dféd.

And like many others that's exactly what i believed and had confidence in.

UNTIL.........................i personally went through a jc that was set up and corrupt from the onset.

In short i was dféd to be silenced, quite simple.

because my child was sexually abused by a dub who didn't get dféd because he was an un-baptised publisher and i wasn't going to let another kid get hurt, they got witnesses to twist something i said and they had false grounds to df me for slander, gossip and loose conduct.

My Dad died this evening

i thought i would let you know that my dad, passed away a little while ago, tonight, january 23. they called me at 6pm to tell me.

he had been failing rapidly for the past month, and had completely lost his hearing and was totally blind.

the dementia was extreme too, and he still knew me on thursday, but didn't wake up to know me in the following days.

How can she pick and choose who she wants to shun?

recently my mother and sister have cut me out of their lives.

they made it quite clear that they don't want anything to do with me anymore, my mother going so far as to change her will (not that there was much there anyways).. i have not da, am not df, have never said anything to anyone in my family about my doubts or what i have uncovered about this religion, i just stopped going to meetings.

(i usually go to the dc with her, and some ca, and the memorial at her cong.).

Hi Bumble Bee....................firstly, nice to meet you.

I'm sorry for what you're going through and I understand your pain.

My parents don't talk to me either.

They were witnesses but daéd several years ago, at the same time my entire family started to fade. So we are all x dubs. Therefore why don't they talk to me? It's not a scriptural shunning!

I guess the point is that people will find and use any excuse to do or not do what they really want. Obviously your mum has issues with you and is using the dub shunning practice to her advantage, there is no other logical reason. Why else would you have a crim in your home and not your daughter?

As sad as it is for you, it's her problem not yours.

Wow, did it feel good.......................

.................to be standing on the other side of the door on a saturday morning.. it happened today.

i had gone to the markets early and when i got home i wandered across the road to my neighbour's house to have my hair coloured.

she's a frustrated hairdresser and a friend.. as usual we chatted as she prepares the colour.

It was over 35 deg and they were in the sun while I was in shorts in an air-conditioned house enjoying a cup of tea. Who was the happiest?

That's why he had to try and convince himself that he was in the better situation by preaching all the crap to me.

Anyhow, life is good..............keep enjoying those weekends ok
