To me it is so obvious there is a Creator due to the design inherent in everything from the smallest to the largest. Your disgust with this board is understandable. I get so disgusted with all the liberal opinions and lack of clear thinking by some. As to the Bible, I have questions concerning who decided what books were in or out and their qualifications and standing with God. If there were no Bible is it possible for God to exist? He seems so unconnected to what occurs down here. We only get a few years to observe and from opinions largely from what was written over time. As a JW I thought the question of "why God permits evil" was answered. Now I'm not so sure. If you are afraid of doubting the Bible like I was it is a struggle leading nowhere. Your friend, Carlton

by Wafe inwhen i came to this board, i thought that it was for encouragement amoung people who had been treated badly by the wtbts, i did not understand that people were going to come here and bash god, his son and the bible.
i could understand some embitterment over religion but some of you people are down right insulting.

Some f@#k goes to open door in his piece of crap but I see it coming and have my arm out waiting. Sure as hell, he opens door and his little girl slams it into me. Man he doesn't even stop but hurriedly packs it in and almost backs into someone else hightailing it. I did not say anything because of the little girl. Anytime my grandson or granddaughter get out I'm ready to keep them from doing that. Sorry about your cool car. I love those things.

I agree with German and Double Edge. I think the media hypes differences of opinion into animosity. I wish USA did not talk so loudly though. I think the self-sufficient spirit serves one well no matter where they live. I am absolutely disgusted with the US Congress. Many of them are more interested in furtherance of their own party than the country's interest. Corrupt is the word that comes to my mind. One example: Congress tries to pass a minimum wage increase, and curiously leaves out American Samoa. (The only US territory exempted.) Fact: Del Monte's tuna industry there employees 70% of the people. Del Monte's HQ is in San Fransisco, the new House Speaker's home district where her husband owns 17 million dollars in Del Monte. Example: Abramoff lobbied heavily for commercial interests over good leadership in the GOP and somewhat in the Dem's party.

This is a trajedy. A long-time elder friend of mine whom I had not seen for a while informed me one of his daughters was over on the African continent somewhere serving a new congregation. I only lamented I was so worried for her but not that he was incredibly gullible to encourage such a thing. So sad.
