You know... last year I chickened out... but I'm thinkin there's these two trees in front of my old hall... and they look just like XMAS trees... god, wouldn't it be funny if...? If we had a mass movement and bunch of apostates went to as many KH in their cities and threw some decorations up? I wonder if the dubs would think it's the end of the world! *LOL* "They're all persecuting us with tinsel! " ha ha. ^_^

Ah, What a tangled web we weave...

... and so i will vent.
so i worked with my jw ex best friend (mind you, i said jw ex best friend, not ex jw best friend) and she and i were blissfully ignoring eachother (at least i was blissfully ignoring her) when all of a sudden she starts talking to me again... which, to my surprise, was shocking.

Well, I reckon SO....didja find out how LONG she's been thinking this way and leading the "double life"?
Since she was 14 or so, and met her first "worldly" boyfriend, and she is 21 now, same as I am... I know she did it to survive, but that's kind of harsh, I mean, talk about heartless! EUGH. But I understand it now. I just don't want to get stepped on again.

So I worked with my JW ex best friend (Mind you, I said JW ex best friend, not ex jw best friend) and she and I were blissfully ignoring eachother (at least I was blissfully ignoring her) when all of a sudden she starts talking to me again... which, to my surprise, was shocking. I decided on a whim that perhaps she was talking to me in order to seek refuge... so I went along with it and set a lunch date with her (a discreet one)... and as it turns out.. she doesn't believe anything the JWs tell her (and she's born and raised JW) nor does she follow it to their face... rather, she fronts to her parents in order to not lose touch with them, and then does things... how do the dubs say it.. "Leading a double life...?" Anywho... I was in shock, because she was the dub who converted me four years prior...
I feel used.

obviously, as apostates we're like the people of zion in the matrix... all of us have been extracted from the "matrix" of the watchtower cult.
neo is like jesus, obviously, as he's "the one" people put hope in and the people in zion who don't believe in jesus are like apostates who left the religion but don't believe anymore.

Morpheus is like all the apostles rolled into one, I think, but I am open for debate on Morpheus. The "Architect" is NOT Jehovah or God or whoever, but is the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society as he created the world of the Matrix. The Agents, those are elders because they're trying to rid the matrix of all the ones who won't assimilate. Agent Smith, this time around, is like the Witnesses who haven't DFed or DAed yet, as he is still in the matrix but is malfunctioning and contaminating other agents.
In the Matrix Reloaded, Neo and the others go to the Oracle for advice, and she says they need to go find the keymaster, but he's being held prisoner by Marivingian (sp?) which is this evil corrupt program in the Matrix. They commented that he was once like Neo but then he changed... that's like an apostate who left the Borg and was normal for a bit but then went drug crazy and nutty etc.
I have more, and more, and more, and more, and more about this subject as it is going to be my masters thesis at some point in my college philosophy career... so If you're interested in debate, let's have it folks. ^_^ Isn't it just creepy as hell, the similarities?

I was an aspiring young sister, outgoing and friendly, willing to do anything for Jehovah. I was known for my generousity and friendliness no matter what... never did the slow burn, I DAed (but they said disfellowshipped when I was announced ... grr) while in great standing so I'm known now as a "What ever happened to...?"
