  for those of yall that didn't know, kristi was a 37-yr-old ms patient that i took care of for the last year of her life.

  she had a wonderful ribald sense of humor and talked like a sailor at times.

  but it was all to cover up the ultra-sweet and tender heart she had.

  Remember this little gem the next time you are counseled for your lack of field service. Point out that they should be offering sympathy since by not participating in this activity you are actually missing out on an enjoyable activity.

  Catch -- my congregation was assigned to the 300 level.

  Is the assigning of seats something new? As teenagers ( a couple of years ago) we were always intentionally vague about our seating locations when nosey 'friends' wanted to keep track of us. This allowed us to leave during the sessions to attend to essential tasks such as getting the car washed.

  Attendant ever treat you like a child at convention?

  the last straw for me was when an attendant grabbed 22 yr. old me at a cnvention and told me to come inside it was time for it to start.

  i said no, and he got in my face.

  anyone else get told what to do as an adult?

  did the watchtower society ban jw's from owning handguns for self defence?.

  if they did, when did they issue the ban?.

  didn't some of jesus's apostles carry a sword when the group traveled, to protect agains wild animals and human thieves?

  Can someone explain how making guns illegal would keep guns out of criminal hands when we have such a shining example in the war on drugs?

  I have a great idea. Lets fully enforce our existing gun laws, using the maximum sentences and see how this affects violent crime before trying to take guns from law abiding citizens.

  of course i wouldnt want to encourage speculation, but when i was involved in the jws there was sometimes talk of what would or wouldn't be in/acceptable in 'the new system'.

  i heard some happifying comments like there wont be any electric guitars or transport, and we wont be wearing clothes but we'll still have seasons

  There is almost not a single organization in the US or Western world that did not have similar or same views.

  Did those other organizations claim to have direct contact with God?

  Since the Watchtower was God's earthly organization at that time, did God have racist views?

  Were these mans views or did God become politically correct?
