been on a diet?.

i see women as skinny as toothpicks striving to lose weight.

every lady i know seems to be obsessed with loosing an ounce.

I've never been on a diet, but I am picky about what I eat. I never weigh myself either. I read somewhere that women who own a scale and weigh themselves alot are more likely to be overweight,or gain wait then women who don't own a scale and rareley weigh themselves.

do you try to stay in good shape?

to be healthy and stay healthy one must do a minimum of physical activites, even if it's only a small walk once in a while.

no matter who you are, you must do a minimum of physical activities to stay healthy.. i walk alot, and go on bike once in a while.

How long did it take you to leave the org?

I started having doubts after my babtism in 1990. I became inactive in 1996. I did attend the memorial this year, but I promised myself it would be the last. I'm through. SO in answer to your question, about 7 years.

new rules concerning disfellowshipping/ disassociating after you have stopp

hi everyone i have just joined this forum and wondered if anyone else has heard of the rule that if you are inactive, which i have been for the last 4-5 years, that they have a new rule of you either become active again or you have to disassociate yourself, or they can disfellowship you?

is this correct, and does anyone know if there is a time limit that you can be disfellowshipped say up to 5 years after you stop going to meetings?

please help!

I don't think there is in official rule, but just recently my JW sister told me that since I have been inactive for 7 years that I have already disassociated myself from the org.
