  hey, i've been checking this site out for a few months and thought i'd start posting.

  My pet Bunny Died

  my pet bunny "hoshi" died on sunday.

  she got a bacterial infection, and we did everything to save her.

  spent the night in the animal emergency room but they couldn't do much for her.

  Thanks everyone for your replies. I feel so silly getting so attached to a little rabbit. My husband contacted the breeder we got her from yesterday, and they will have another orange Netherland Dwarf ready for us around the 1st of July. So we're going to try again.

  About a month. Seriously though, I've never been attached to pet as much as Hoshi. She was just the perfect friend for me.

  I love gardening!

  I've only been in my new house for a year, so I haven't had time to start my veggie garden yet. I've been too busy with the rest of the landscaping. Besides all the shrubs, flowers and trees, I planted 150 stawberry 8 blueberry bushes, 20 raspberry plants, combo apple, cherry, pie cherry, pear and asian pear trees. Still have lots more to go!

  What movies make you think of the Borg?...

  i was watching a great sci-fi movie the other day (chronicles of riddick) and there was a phrase in the movie that jumped out at me.

  a soldier was being promoted and he said the phrase "obedience without question, loyalty till underverse comes".

  i thought "wow, just replace underverse with armageddon and that sound just like the witnesses".

  Our New Baby

  a few of you will remember a while ago my baby dog died, got into the snail bait.. anyway i've finnaly relocated houses and the landlord said i can have whatever pets i want.

  so i now have a new baby.

  her name is poppy and she's a king charles cavalier x pomeranian.. she's just the cutest little thing and the most beautiful natured dog, she comes everywhere with me.. here's some pics of her..

  I was in your exact situation 2 years ago. Even though I don't post much, this board has helped me out tremendously. I encourage you to stick around, there are plenty of others on this board who are have experienced the same as you. It gets better, I promise. Ask yourself: Do you really want to be unhappy the rest of your life, just to make the rest of your family happy?

  for an oldie i'd pick audrey hepburn singing moon river ... mmnnnn, i never get tired of that.. currently i'm listening to norah jones an aweful lot.

  she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?
