Were YOU Depressed When You Were A Witness?
by minimus ini've seen soooo many witnesses taking meds or alcohol because of unhappiness and depression.
i know of one woman who regularly gos to her shrink and is the most depressed person that i know of.
personally, i believe it's because a jw can never do enough to satisfy god or the elders....what do you think?

Finally downloaded the application for America's Next Top Model. :)
by stillAwitness inwell, i been "living in sin" for about 5 days now and aside from an elder asking if i was gonna still do a talk i was scheduled for this past monday (i told him no of course.
he knows i moved out and only asked about my literature) i finally worked the nerve to download the application for this season's america's next top model.
i've been modeling for some time now and i figured what the hell...i have nothing to lose but $3.95 in postage.

Gap commercial would be cool. Catalog modeling wouldn't be so bad and I'm sure it pays the bills. It would kind of suck to be a model for a Sears catalog though.=)

Jayla wasn't technically a JW, never babtized. Wasn't she also on MTV's Road Rules? Your right Stilla, 22 is a bit late to try to jump start you modeling career, so ANTM could be a huge help to you at this point. You've only got 2 more year before your considered 'too old'. After you reach the big 25 and haven't made it as a supermodel, your stuck with catalog modeling. Wish I would have gotton off my lazy unmotivated butt when I was young and got into modeling while I could. Now I'm waaaaay to old! You should post your pic here, I'm curious to see what you look like. =)5'-8" isn't too short, look at Kate moss. She's only 5'6".

I've eaten alligator and cougar...
Buffalo meat is quite common in Washington. You can buy it at any grocery store.

But I'm a huge fan of the show. I've watched every episode. So good luck to ya! Maybe we'll see you on there!
You said you do runway shows, do you already belong to an angency? Or were those just the 'open call' sort of things?
Oh and one more thing.... you said that you wanted avoid being df'd or da'd at all costs. Don't you think that being on that show and having to do the nudie photos, and sexy bedroom photo shoots with the boys going to get you df'd? Oh and then everyone would find out that you live your boyfriend. -

Who would you invite to your Fantasy Dinner Table?
by nicolaou inyou know the game, you can invite ten real people - alive or dead - who you would want to have around the table for a meal and conversation.
since it's a fantasy, language wouldn't be a barrier.. i'm still working on my definitive list but some names come immediately to mind;.
stephen fry.

why won't witnesses use tv or radio?
by moomanchu inthe radio was used extensively in the 1920's and 1930's.
by 1933 the society was using 403 radio stations to broadcast bible lectures.
later, the use of the radio was largely replaced by increased house-to-house visits by witnesses with portable phonographs and recorded bible talks.

They had tv commercial just after 911. I remember watching it and thining it was a Mormon commercial, until they said something about the "watchtower, bible and tract society." Anyone else remember this one?
