jesus denies being God! scriptural discussion.

i thought after recently reading the bible i would put up for disussion some recent scriptures up which for me show that jesus never viewed himself as god and anyone listening would also see it this way too.. first mark 10 :17-20.

Of course Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus is no other than the Archangel Michael. All evidence points to him. whether the witnesses teach this doctrine or anyone else. But now he holds a higher position at the eight hand of God. In Jude Michael would not act against Satan out of respect for Jehovah the Father. Jesus had stated to his followers and the pharisees, scribes that he is the one whom came down from Heaven and will be the only one to ascend to Heaven. My Lord is the true bread that came down from Heaven. Jesus and Michael are the same because although he was in human form he still used that same archangels call to raise people who were dead back to life during his earthly ministry. He raised Lazarus and others to life. Soon this call will be implemented on a worldwide scale.

How Jesus Returns?

if you believe that jesus returned invisibly, i'd like to know why you still cling to that wt dictate.. but my question is more for those who believe the return is yet to come.. according to scriptures, jesus appeared to many people after his resurrection, but the acension was not a "grand send off".. in acts it says that he will return in like manner.

several scriptures say he will come in the clouds with great glory; that does not seem like the way he left, at least from what we have of scriptural infomation.

do you think that all will see his coming, but that he will personally appear only to his followers?.

I personally believe that Jesus has already arrived. He is in fact ruling in the midst of his enemies. I've made myself familiar with the false predictions made by earlier followers who made incorrect, inconsistent predictions. However, the fulfillment of scripture stated in Matthew where Jesus described various signs that would happen when he becomes king. Those composite signs started to be fulfilled in it's entirety starting around the beginning of the twentieth century. So I truly believe that our King is ruling at this time and has been ruling since the beginning of the 20th century. It's just a matter of time before he unleashes the four winds upon the earth.

IF I'm not mistaken Rome's downfall was caused by some of the same injustices being done today. The emperors and the governmental rulers were greedy and materialistic, they waddled in sin. The same is going on today. For example the emperor Nero was insane, emperor Caligula was also insane and both were murderers of their own people and family. As a matter of fact Rome was plagued by mysterious killings and plotted murders of political leaders. Just like today, the world is plagued with violence to and from dictators and political leaders. Just like those Roman Emperors who cared less about the people so do these political rulers of this world. 700 hundred Billion to bail out wall street, but 50 billion can solve the worlds food and poverty crisis. If not, it could at least provide clean drinking water for countries that do not have it. You mean to tell me that America has an education crisis, health crisis, employment crisis and the only time money is ever made or given in the billions is to assist people and companies who never help our communities. They want our tax money, but when a small town American needs a loan to start his business or save his home, he's told his credit score is insufficient or he has no collateral. I feel that the American people should have pushed for a credit rating for wall street investment firms and the other financial institutions. So when they submit their paperwork for bail out money, they can then be rated if they've ever given any American tax payers loans for home improvement or businesses. The Great Tribulation has begun, it just hasn't affected everyone yet. Soon all those money hungry religious leaders no matter who they are will be affected, even God's organization. The scriptures say that all will be affected by this tribulation. But only the true people of God will triumph over these things because of Jehovah and Jesus. These false leaders have misguided the entire world with their false doctrine. They have made themselves drunk with their fornications and unbridled lust for power. Since this election, so called ministers of God's word have spoken openly and abusively about both presidential candidates. Once elected, they won't forget, they will seek justice and revenge by exposing them. Religion is one of the most flourishing wealthy businesses ever. I have yet to research history to find that a minister or priest of some religion say their God told them to live poor and shun wealth. Most false religions today live in lavish wealth while their people live in poor conditions. This is a world wide matter. Only the true followers of Christ will imitate him and shun the desires of this world. But soon the Governments of this world are going to get tired of being blamed for all of the worlds problems and then they are going to expose those religious leaders for who they are and make them take some responsibility for our worlds problems. Once that happens, then Babylon will be destroyed. It's just around the corner. They are already probing some of these organizations financial records and exposing them on national television.

After the bailout!! Nothing happened!! Whats next? I remember in my last post someone stated that other countries will not really be affected. Boy! they were very wrong. Now I wanna see how this plays out. But I guess if you don't believe a Great Tribulation is coming then you really don't have to pay this post any mind.

No offense to participants of this forum, but if you feel strongly that this issue is far fetched then why post on this topic? I did not post this comment to offend anyone. I feel that we as a free and intellectual people have the right to express what we feel. If I offended anyone I sincerely apologize, but I've noticed a lot of post listed on this site and some I will never comment on because I don't feel some of it is worth commenting on. That's why I feel that if this subject wasn't on your mind then you would not waste time commenting on this post. If the world's seen doesn't give you the least suspicion that something is coming then you need to really open your eyes.

When I think about the biblical tale of Noah! I think of the time we are living in today and how it resembles Noah's time. No one's really paying attention. Until the water (Tribulation) comes and everything we know and love is gone. I was watching this show on television that spoke about the 10 greatest wonders of Egypt. I wondered how the Pharaoh felt when his entire empire was crushed by a God he did not know and a poor shepherd who did not have two coins to rub together. It was said that if you looked upon Pharaoh you would burn up instantly. They lived in shameless wealth and desired to take some of their possessions to the after life as some think they will today. Look at what GREED has done to this country and all the surrounding countries of the world. There was an article in the news stating that before the proposed bail out, CEO's of these investment and banking companies ran off with millions of dollars. I made a post a while back stating the Great Tribulation was picking up speed and now this verifies what I had said on the post previously. The powers that be simply pacified the truth telling you the economy is strong and we will find a way out of this crisis. Not anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question about 1914

jws believe 1914 was a turning point with jesus' invisible reign, and the first world war started in 1914.. what order did it actually happen?.

did they think armageddon would be in 1914, then when it came and went they changed their mind and said it was jesus' invisible reign?

or did the war happen and only after they decided to say 1914 was a special year for them?

God's laws are perfect, but the men and women who strive to follow them are imperfect and flawed. Now regarding being an individual, a person could worship individually, but that would not be Jehovah's will. Proverbs 30: 5, Proverbs 6:6. A single ant by itself is nothing, but an army of ants are unstoppable. Jehovah wants his people to be united like the ants.

By inspiration the scriptures were written. Not interpreted. So the Org is not inspired, the scriptures were written by men who were inspired.

I'm pretty sure that Jehovah will forgive them for the minor miscalculation. But what about the religious atrocities that were committed by other so-called christian organizations. What about the so called crusades, christian nazi's, catholic churches role in supporting wars on both sides of the battle lines. What about the false trinity doctrine and the acceptance of homosexuality. What about the embezzling of millions of dollars from billions of followers. What about the false healings and predictions they published. What about the false after life teachings that are still being taught till this day. These things have yet to be addressed by those organizations who support them, yet a few miscalculations made regarding some dates and times of events is being used to discredit an organization that has made public it's misinterpretations and miscalculations. Also this organization does not hesitate to say publicly that they made errors in judgement.

I would rather be guilty of following an organization who made a few date miscalculations regarding the end, then follow organizations who are blood guilty and who support the domination of his fellow human brothers on earth. Check this link out!

jehovahs witnesses, in their eagerness for jesus second coming, have suggested dates that turned out to be incorrect.

It is by inspiration that the scriptures were written. It is not by inspiration that the scriptures are interpreted. My thing is if you don't believe then don't believe. Time will tell all things.

I'm pretty sure when Noah told his message to the people in his homeland that a deluge is about to come upon the earth they laughed in his face for many years. They laughed all the way up to the time Jehovah made Noah enter the ark. I know the Org is hard to believe and follow, it could be comparable to a man of God building a ship on dry land. No one wants to ride until they see water comming then it's too late.

this is not so much a question as it is to make sure that i am thinking correctly.

the witnesses believe that 144,000 would rule as kings and priests in heaven and the end would not come until all of the 144,000 were in heaven, correct?

so, if this were the case and the witnesses kept a census of how many partook each year and are still doing that today, that means that back in the early 1900s they must of known that all 144,000 were not yet in heaven.

This subject makes me think about Ancient Israel. Long ago before Jesus walked the earth, there were a lot of men claiming to be the Christ. Even after the death of Jesus did some men continue to seek that claim. But in order for people to really pinpoint who the Christ was they had to thoroughly examine the scriptures and prophecies. The Org may have made some bad decisions but I feel they have more information regarding the scriptures than any other so called christian faith hands down.
